This is a complete outrage.
at 10:14 10 Jan 2015

This latest stuff is beyond belief. I can summon up a shred of understanding (not sympathy mind) of them wanting to challenge death threats or unsubstantiated rumours about goings on in hotels or drug habits or whatever. I can just about see how they might justify that in their own heads but to take on Tim fielding is just bizarre. I can't think of any bst missive, public or via email which has contained anything other than the obvious truth. All Tim has done is put words around actions and figures. I really have no idea what they think they'll achieve here. It's like a bully deciding to punch a wall to show how tough he is.

I agree that Sergei Zenjov looks like he has 'something' - against Wigan I thought he was poor BUT... once or twice he did something that had it come off, would have been fantastic. As it was it generally was executed a second or so too late, so it just looked rubbish, but if he can get to the pace, there is something there. Not seen enough in other games, but I thought there was just a flicker of something.

AN ASSESSMENT OF TODAY
at 23:24 23 Aug 2014

I'd agree largely. Zoko shouldn't be up front on his own. He could possibly do a job behind the front two but leading the line he was terrible. I thought lundstrom looked the only midfield player likely to even get in a shooting position. Daniels was good and at least mcmahon occaisionally had a bit of a run or looked to set things going. I thought we looked a division worse than them first half. All game our full backs never got forward which seemed odd seen as oriel looks physically and positionally unsuited to being out and out full back. The midfield sat deep and they as said above were really narrow so we had no outlet other than the flimsy heavy touched Zoko. Second half was a bit better. We didn't create a huge amount but at least by trying to we held them off. Atmosphere was really unpleasant. No sense of bond between fans and players, constant anti Oyston chants which I don't mind but it really felt like the game was vaguely irrelevant. Summary : an abject lack of creativity and very few thrills. Lumpen and stodgy.

It's great but some weeks it's made of repeat. I barely watch anything else apart from netflix.

MOTD - Barry Davies returns
at 18:18 22 Aug 2014

My favourite commentator was Peter Jones though Barry Davies is probably my favourite TV one. I used to like Hugh Johns commentating on Wrexham games on the itv sport round ups as he was like a voice from another era when I was a kid. Irc he did the world cup final in 66 on the other side from kenneth Wolstenholme. On that note, best team of presenters had to be Wolstenholme doing the voice overs, James Richardson anchoring and Peter Brackley commentating on the Italian football on c4. Quite why James Richardson hasn't ever done motd 2 is beyond me. It's made for him. I don't mind some of the younger five live commentators. Anyone but alan green.
