We got what we went there for a ....point so in all not a bad result
Longs engine is still there but seamed a bit lost .coco ran lots but needs to know when to cross
Hate to say it but manager is growing on me like the way he realized that jack h was being pushed about
And he not wait till half time to get tadic on
All in all a good game if not just a little boring
But given that we were the visitors and home team not loss at home since moving to new ground
And we are still top of group . With key players rested ready for Sunday
A good result

A good point and great experience especially for the young uns. Worried the trip will take it out of us for the away trip to Leicester.

A match rating of 9 for excitement, but if I was rating the R's defence it would be more like a 2. The team played a lot of decent football and there were some good performances, even in defence, but not much consistency. However they couldn't stop Fulham creating the proverbial hatful of chances.

If Fulham had a decent finisher in their ranks they could have won 6-2, so we were lucky, but we played with spirit, never gave up and even when under pressure in the second half there was some heroic defending. The game changed when Parker went off and Shodipo came on. Wszolek had had a relatively subdued game and Shodipo's energy and pace were just what we needed to shift the balance of play. And his strength in a couple of challenges was impressive for a small and young player.

Overall we have to accept the team need to do much better to close down the opposition further up the field (where was the pressing?) and sort out the defence. But the finish was joyful!!

The football gods were smiling on us today and we are blessed with an outstanding goalkeeper

Despite Lee Masons prodigious attempts to steer the match Fulham's way we still came away with three glorious unlikely points

On another day against a sharper team we would have been done

Henry had one of his best games for us – but was allowed to as Fulham had no recognised midfield destroyer

At times Massimo looked class above any player on the field

I thought that Fulhams substitutions of Parker and Martin were certainly puzzling– Although there is a suggestion that Parker may have been injured

Suddenly, Singapore Speechgate has – for the moment – dropped off the radar

At 18:04 hours this Saturday evening, I am feeling very content ...

Good to get a point at Leicester and after an away game in Europe. The rotation system is working. Well done the manager. Austin should have scored in second half but good shot in first that hit the post. Strong midfield made things difficult for Leicester.

Very little quality on display from both sides if I am honest reading were the better side in a poor game.both wash and poult had chances to win it but they had a few chances as well . Smithies plated a blinder and my mom. Wlociez goal was well made and taken. Poor defending again from us the the equaliser. JFH went for it at the end but with no real effect.

A game of 2 halves in terms of goal scoring, but certainly not in terms of performance.

Total dominance from Saints throughout and only Heaton saving Burnley from another Sunderlandesque mauling. A whopping 34 shots - a Saints best since Opta was formed - showed how on top we were and with a little more luck and clinical finishing, we could and should have been close to double figures.

Charlie at the double and a goal from Redmond that will hopefully give his confidence a boost.

Already 2 full backs down, losing Targett seemed like a fatal blow, but it turned out to be a bit of a blessing in disguise. McQueen is a Left Back who has been converted from a winger, so was more than happy to expose the space down the left wing. He also was well accomplished in defence, as well as showing neat touches and flicks. He grew in confidence as the game wore on and once the other players decided he could be trusted with a pass :-)

Great displays from the usual suspects - as is now expected, but we do still tend to have the odd funny 5 or 10 mins in each half, as we do in every game. I'm sure this is being addressed though and will be rectified shortly.

Good to see Clasie actually complete a full 90, so I guess that means Hojbjerg will get the nod in Milan. JWP only had a small cameo, so he will probably feature at the San Siro as well. I wonder if a few won't travel to Italy - like the Israel trip ?

A great win, should have scored more, but perfect preparation for the Inter game on Thursday.

See you all over there - Can't wait !! :-)
