Agree another season at least a decent top half finish and he will be in greater demand further up the pyramid. Of course football management and opportunities are a fluid situation and things can change quickly, but I feel Marti wants to give it a go a bit longer at QPR, but will expect backing and a bit of spending to plug a few gaps. |

I love Loftus Road it still maintains my connection to London even though moved away over 30 years ago, but for us to move forward a new ground with a sensible capacity is a must. Every home game I go to reminds me that the stadium looks tired, lack of space, poor legroom and facilities that probably don't match up to the modern football era. I remember when it was modernised circa 1980/81 and we thought this was the place for the modern game, but that is over 40 years ago and expectations have changed. If the land can't be found within the W12 and surrounding area then probably a move towards Hillingdon area is an option. Always felt the time has long passed since you could re-develop Loftus Road by expanding the footprint that ship sailed once property prices in London started going through the roof since late 1980s onwards. Not so easy today to scrap £1m plus houses around the ground or even the old White City flats which now cost an arm and a leg. |

Agree we should celebrate that QPR developed him and that he hopefully will make more money for us in a high profile sale. Really enjoyed watching Eze in a QPR shirt and enjoy watching him in a Palace shirt. Have very fond memories of that fantastic goal away at Stoke first game of the 2019/20 season which really set him apart as a special talent. |

Looks like we mean business next season taking on Prem sides in the pre-season to test ourselves, something that has been lacking in recent years except 2021 when we played Man Utd and Leicester. |

I sort of ignore the Sky bias towards certain teams these days, Goodman and Hinchcliffe tend to favour northern teams anyway as that was their background as players. What has been interesting for QPR on Sky last season is our record, don't think we actually lost any of the games we featured in and that Leeds result was a right old kick in the goolies for the Sky boys not expecting us to destroy the mighty Leeds |

Still playing football at 60, although the walking football variety, obviously no heading allowed, automatic freekick if ball goes over head height or a player heads the ball. In warm ups a couple of weeks ago asked a lad to cross a ball for me to head, my god forgot how hard a football is when heading at speed, took a few moments to recompose myself. A good idea to limit young heads from the effect of continuous heading especially in training match environments, debatable at the point you play competitive football say from teenage years. |

I worked for the government for 36 years from the Thatcher administration to the May administration in 2017. The only real period of improvement and optimism was during the Blair years from 1997, development of New Deal through to say 2008 when the financial crash happened. Investment in projects, public services etc and better relationships with our European neighbours were at the forefront of policy. The Tories spent most of their time looking at dismantling and knocking the state, telling us all that they propose a tax cutting agenda when they know that is not a sustainable line when a growing country needs to be paid for. |

Try not to worry, he saved us this season but more likely his stock will rise if we push on up the table next season and get into a top 10 position and dare I contemplate a play off position. Overall reckon we have him for another season but as we know football is a fluid and fickle environment and things can change quickly. |

This is all very positive and hope I don't put the mockers on it, but I smell revival and have done since the improvements from January onwards kicked in. It feels totally different to the doom and gloom of last pre-season when we looked like a sinking ship. There was also a younger vibe emerging at Loftus Road it has been noticeable that possibly a younger fanbase is growing at the club and that is all good for our future. |

Think we have the players to win it especially midfield and attacking players, but as you say our weakness is the defence. So far Southgate has wasted Foden out wide and think we all know that Foden is more effective in a free flowing attacking midfield role. He now also has Palmer in the mix as well plus in my mind the best midfielder in possibly the World at the moment in Jude Bellingham. We are a force just need belief, tactics and good slice of luck to get over the line. Another great benefit is the wonderful Harry Kane a real top quality striker plying his trade in Germany so won't be fazed in front of those German crowds. [Post edited 20 May 17:12]

My Palace supporting mate seems to feel that Olise is the one to go, either way he feels that they will only let one go this Summer but are not really pushed financially to do so, unless silly money is on offer. |

That 1986 Milk Cup final was a real downer for me, after that game failed to renew my season ticket for the following season and lost interest in the Rangers for quite a few years. A few scores to settle now Oxford are back in the Championship and not too bad a journey for the away game for me. |

I had real doubts that Smyth was a backward looking signing, but I think Cifuentes has made very good use of him as an impact winger since coming in. Terrible finisher and rushed crosses need to be worked on but he is fast and can really worry defenders with his pace, scored a couple of important goals coming in from wide areas. Improvement to final delivery and yes a very competent player at Championship level. |
