Fair enough. If anyone could find a sponsor whose initials spelled out F U C K O F F C H E L S E A just for that one match in that shirt that would be nice too. |

Incidentally, the problem with green and white hoops is that, however well it works as a kit (which it does) it doesn't do the prime job of an away kit which is to avoid colour clashes that come with the home kit. We should be wearing blue and white hoops except when we're playing anyone in predominantly blue or predominantly white (or both). Against teams in white, green-and-white just won't do. |

Sympathise with the OP but there is such a thing as integrity and respect for the competition, the other teams, and the fans. One or two younger players getting a run-out is one thing, wholesale changes is going too far. |

Did they use Monopoly money? Go to jail. Do not pass Go. Just f*ck right off. |

I make you right and even if things go pear-shaped you'd still be right on most of us expecting bottom three and praying for 4th bottom. |

The alternative view is that we should be writing off all of them and starting again in the summer. Not sure I'd go that far but I'd certainly be well along that path. Let's also not forget that the one absolute quality forward we have is Ilias Chair and none of us can be exactly certain where he'll be next season. |

Dunno about you lot but I want us to win every game between now and the end of the season and will be disappointed if we lose to any except Leeds (only side we play who are above us in current form table) or maybe Preston (one below us) Obviously all sorts of things can go wrong, but no, I'm not expecting us to simultaneously start losing while a bunch of sides deservedly in the relegation zone win everything in sight. I think it's more likely we finish a place or maybe two above where we are now. On complacency, that's a matter for the players and manager, not us. In Marti I trust. |

Hoping (in order of desirability): 1. It's an April Fool; or 2. It balls; or 3. He's the new Plymouth manager |

Contracts can be varied "by agreement"; a lot depends on who has the bargaining power. If they said: "Go to QPR, we're not covering all your wages and QPR can't, but you'll play. You're in the shop window. Stay here and you get paid, but you won't play, and we've not had any offers for you" then he might be willing to take that (Pure speculation on my part; I'm just saying that legally that could happen.) |

Very much agree with you on those two sides. They were both very good, very likeable sides and while they may not have won any trophies, they made QPR as a top flight side seem natural, not just the product of a brief glorious episode For personal reasons I saw much less of the Holloway side but they have a big place in my heart because they turned round a truly awful period under Houston and Harford. The fact that they did it in lower divisions doesn't undermine that; on the contrary, the fact they did it for us when we were skint at places like Wigan and Crewe Alex matters to me. |

Sorry, but I don't think that's the point. I know where you're coming from: there's no point in slagging the bloke off, he's doing his best and I wish him well. Bitching about him when we win level a sour taste in my mouth and we don't have anyone notably better anyway. But he just isn't what we need. I'm not convinced any of the others are either, though I think it's worth persisting with Armstrong to see if he can improve. Dykes is our player and gets all my support so long as he's with us, I hope he gets a move that works out for him, but if we're still perming one of Dykes, Frey and Armstrong next year we are in for another relegation battle. I've no doubt at all Cifuentes knows that and will act on it, he's clearly no fool.So I don't see any point in going on about the strikers in the meantime, but equally let's be realistic. |

Looking at Andersen, Hayden and Hodge I'm fairly confident that we're a lot better at transfers now than we have been for a few years. Not sure how much money there'll be, but am I right in thinking that some of the FFP pressures ease as the summer of 2021 splurge on Charlie Austin and Johansen disappears in the rear view mirror? |

Plenty of praise for Cifuentes as coach on this thread, and quite right too. Worth also noting (given the problem areas in the team which we can all see) that recruitment since he came in has also been pretty impressive; no real duds in the last transfer window and a couple of little gems. Don't know who's responsible, and there's still the question of money, but it bodes well for next year if we stay up (which I'm not taking for granted just yet.) |
