A well balanced and largely accurate report, which I enjoyed. The clappers are bizarre I agree but stragely enough we seem to do well when we have them which is about 4 times a season. As for Fulham fans obsession with QPR, I think it took off when Hughes left us because of our "lack of ambition" and turned up at QPR, a club broadlt similar to Fulham in most respects apart from a ground which is nearly 30% smaller than Craven Cottage. By ambition of course Hughes meant the opportunity to spend millions of pounds of someone elses money to satisfy his own ego, which he did by signing mediocre players at ludicrous prices including the laughable and unloveable Zamora and likeable but unlucly AJ. I think most Fulham fans could take or leave QPR and really want to occassionally beat Chelsea, but the Hughes "ambition" rubbish brought you right onto our radar. |
