Hayden was sent on a season long loan to Standard Liege so, is it possible that Newcastle were able to agree to pay him only half his wages until the summer and the rest to be picked up by the Belgian club? Then, when it all went t!ts up because Liege stopped paying his wages on time and he left, that Newcastle said find yourself another club to make up the shortfall. We obviously said we'll pay you a percentage but it won't be what Liege were offering.
This is guesswork but MIGHT be possible. Also Hayden says that in the summer he'll be back to square one, which I took to mean that Newcastle will have to pay him 100% again.
Apart from Norwich and Boro, every other Swansea fixture is against a relegation rival. They can really help us out. Losing to us would be a good start.
The Leicester co-comms (who he?) was much more complimentary about Dykes than Tony Thorpe was against Bristol City. I thought Dykes did well to look up and pick out Illy yesterday as initially I thought he was just going to hit it with power at the keeper.
"Of course the above assumes he's signed up to a water tight contract where employment termination would result in a appropriate settlement. I say this based on his Agent / Solicitor signing up and agreeing such a deal."
You're forgetting that honest Mick doesn't have an agent. And he's never even been to Wolverhampton.
