Players we should have got rid - way before we did
at 14:29 13 May 2024

It's got to be Joey Barton.
Anyone else who embarrasses their employer like that would be sacked immediately.
Instead, we send ours on holiday to the south of France for a year on full pay

What a weapon.

Running a close second has to be SWP, who was terrible, Imagine having £50k odd per week to spend on players now?

End of Season Review - Live Now On The Patreon

The Wrexham doc only mentions the other teams in passing, apart from the head to head with Notts that season.
It's very strange isn't it, the actual football takes a backseat, almost like L2 is dogshit?

Just struggling through it now. I don't want to offend too many people but the quality of that pod has dropped off a cliff since Chris and David left

Players we should have kept

Imagine having a player as good as Les now! £100+ million easy

My beef wasn't that he left, he probably should have gone the year earlier but Gerry stopped it. The real issue is how QPR spent the record money he bought in...

You've got to hope that regardless of outgoings, or Eze money, we have a look at the Forward line in the summer.

Starting a season hoping that Dykes, Armstrong and crossing fingers for Kolli, will return 30+ goals between them just won't do it.

I realise there are about 72 clubs looking for a 20+ goal striker, so it might just be the holy grail, but they are out there.

We were so lucky last year with injuries. The squad past the first 11 is still very thin in all areas. The odds on our first choice CB pairing playing every game must be astronomical

A few years back I tried to work out how many subs you'd need to cover the £3bn outgoing rights deal and actually make any money out of the thing.

It's a mystery! More people watch Antiques Roadshow at the weekend, and you don't see a bidding war for that.

I'm not sure how many iTV Digital, Setanta, ESPN, BT Sport type deals we need to see before its realised that its not a viable proposition.

There is so much to unpick in the whole sorry case.

Obviously JT is a massive bell end. The recent interview where he thinks destroying the manager before he's even started over who sits where on a plane is a good example of his behaviour speaks volumes.

The bit I struggle with though, is football that institutionally racist that players like Rio have to wait until they retire before they are allowed to form an opinion about JT and what was done/said?

Those Chelsea players that gave evidence in court need to have a long hard look at themselves.

What an absolute cock womble that man and his extended family is/are

Isn't Turkey covered by Astra 1A still?
(Sky use this satellite for their linear channels)
I reckon you'll find a bar showing the UK Sky feed somewhere...

Otherwise it should be on the QPR+ for a tenner

I found The Bear painful to watch
Yeah, the acting was good, but...
They obviously researched the cooking part, but other aspects were so wrong...

Putting up some plasterboard walls is not a ball ache
Fixing an old arcade machine is not a dark art

The whole premise of the programme is
"will they make the sandwich?"

Calling Richie "Cousin" all the time got on my Hampton.
In the real world no-one would tolerate him

It was just OK...

I've owned driven ICE, PHEV and EV

I have to say that as a main car the PHEV was a big compromise.
We had the BMW 2 series one, which was heavy.
Performance is nice, but realistically it had a small fuel tank for the ICE and small batteries for the EV, so it was the worst of both worlds.

Although I remember that during COVID we went ages without going to a petrol station, so maybe not as bad as I recall.

If you can I'd go full EV.
We've got solar panels and always charge at home with a 32a wallbox.

Chargers out and about are premium £££, but I guess still cheaper than buying pertrol!

When did we start calling a save a missed penalty?
I always thought a miss, was a shot off target, like Kerry Dixon's

I can say with some authority that this was some moody stream, or VPN workaround.

They will spend a lot more on maintenance in the Prem.
But basically all PL have the same DESSIO system of synthetic fibres woven amongst real grass.

We've got the undersoil heating, lamps and sprinklers, so I think its on par.

It's funny though, we've always had the skidmarks down the line next to Ellerslie as long as I can remember, is it the shape of the roof?

Car Insurance
at 15:34 21 Feb 2024

Do you really believe that?

I think its a couple of factors.

1). Insurance companies are greedy
2). There are millions of uninsured drivers on the road now
3). The Police don't have the bandwidth to crack down on it, and from what I've seen when they do catch a repeat offender its a small fine and points on a licence they don't even have ;D

I used to drive a car with Halogen headlamps that were £700 ea at the time.
If I'd had a crash and broke them the car would have been written off!

Insurance is a scam for the vast majority of us who never have to use it, but still pay for it

I know Hoos said it at the Fans Forum (when we were flying under Beale), but does anyone believe that we turned down any large bids for our "top" players?

I reckon if anyone came in with anything good +£5m for anyone then we would have sold tout suite!
