That's what it looks like but Brentford surely better than 1 dimensional Cardiff and Swansea reserves?
As I said above total nonsense to imply we were anything other than brilliant against both or that both results were somehow meaningless, but have to accept Brentford a cut above both. |

The frustrating is we actually started pretty well but capitulated after the first goal. As for Lumley, I'm all for support but this is beyond farcical now. He simply is not suited to playing out from the back because he can't kick and is too lackadaisical at key moments. |  | | |

Warburton has really fcked up the team selection today: Lumley and Manning have been appalling and he dropped Kelly and Wallace to acc0omodate them. |
Plenty of time for MW, but can't help but agree. This wasn't the game to go with both Manning and Kane, and quite what the point of continuing to play a keeper who is pretty much handing over a goal in every game he currently plays, I don't for the life of me understand. It's not going to help him recover confidence, in fact as someone who seems not to be toughest mentally, it may well finish his career. All in all, overly idealistic from the manager I'd say. |  | | |

They were well watering the pitch prior to kick off. Interestingly Brentford players don’t have this problem. Maybe they have longer studs in their boots?
