STOKE CITY 0 LEICESTER CITY 4

WYCOMBE WANDERERS 4 PRESTON NORTH END 1
A final game with no 3 pointer, and 7 got the outcome.
The FA Cup produced its usual share of surprise results and hard to find 3 pointers. This made it difficult for anybody looking to get a decent score, and break into the qualifying places. In fact 7 games failed to produce a 3 pointer, and a further 2 only one had each. That left it to Swansea to save the round from being a complete disaster, but that was only due to missed penalty. The total 13 spot-ons were shared out with nobody getting more than one. The rounds top scorer was oxfcolu, with what turned out to be a very significant decent 8 points. He had the Swansea 2-0 spot-on, and five outcomes.
The Final Tables (30 out of 30 played)
(Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first post)
blueeagle has lead all the way in this group, and having the Swansea 2-0 spot-on confirmed his top spot. He is joined in the quarter-finals by Lewis_1 after he maintained 2nd place with his good Sheff Wed 2-0 pick.
In this group mfb_cufc also lead all the way. Also qualifying is ghughes11 after he held on to second place. They both had the Swansea 2-0 spot-on, that proved to be the defining result in this round of games. An impressive 7 outcomes for gerry_us but it did no more than stopping him from finishing bottom.
After leading for the first two rounds RSCOSWORTH unfortunately missed posting the final round. It was oxfcolu who took full advantage of this with his top scoring performance, and he tops the group. Six outcomes were enough for Sector4 to remain second, and to qualify for the quarter-finals as well. Unlucky to miss out was Blue4U2 after getting an incredible 16 outcomes, but unfortunately no 3 pointers.
The top two have been first and second in all rounds. That was confirmed after they both had five outcomes. It means durham_exile wins the group on the most 3 pointer rule from medicine_man. Unlucky to lose out here was BFG, as one more point would have seen him qualify.
The quarter-final draw is:-
(1) blueeagle v ghughes11
(2) Lewis_1 v mfb_cufc
(3) oxfcolu v medicine_man
(4) Sector4 v durham_exile
This is a repeat of the quarter-final game from last season.
The Semi-finals will be between:-
Winner of game 1 v Winner of game 4
Winner of game 2 v Winner of game 3
Quarter-final Fixtures There are no replays in the FA Cup 4th round, so matches are settled after 90 minutes. Extra time does not count. These are one off games no replays.
