I didn’t attend at St Mary’s yesterday due to health issues but did listen on Solent.
From what I could gather, up and until our new boy scored it was a mediocre display at best which was heading for a goalless draw.
On the basis of one glorious header we now have every man and his dog suggesting we can sneak into the playoffs, which of course I hope we do. However, before we all get too excited, please let’s not forget that this is The Saints, who are just as likely to get done by relegation threatened Leicester on Tuesday evening, it being their first home game after a six point deduction.

All the teams in our Div are rubbish and miles off PL level, so unless the 3 promoted teams buy at least 9 new higher quality players they'll return back to base camp sharp.
For the fans that actually go to games, its a much better laugh and day out at Millwall, Birminham than many PL Libraries and getting battered every week |  | | |

We've won 9 out of the last 18 in the league and drawn 4 of the other 9.
That's hardly 'one swallow' and we are now only 4 points from 6th with 15 games and 45 points still to play.
Getting into that 3rd or 4th play off spot is ALL about end of season form.
Of course we can make the play-offs.
Whether we will or not is another matter. | |
