Wrexham fined £75,000 for fielding 2 ineligible players
at 18:56 29 Oct 2026

No, but one day, if we had an investigative journalist from Southampton, he might do some digging into Middlesbrough's role in the misinformation campaign and the Middlesbrough connections in the EFL and the disciplinary panel. It could make quite a sensational story.

It didn't affect Middlesbrough. The EFL said they didn't give Wrexham a points deduction because it didn't affect results. Neither did watching training sessions.

The Ipswich incident was just video taken by Eastleigh at their own stadium and shown to Saints. The Middlesbrough incident was Tonda asking the analysts if they could find out if Hayden Hackney was fit to play. We've never heard the details of the Oxford incident, but we lost that game.

I don't think Pete Doherty will be taking his son to games:

This thread runs to 10 pages:

Famous QPR Fans by QPRSteve 2 Dec 2022 17:41
Couldn't find the old thread on this.

I popped over to WeAreTheRangersBoys to see what there take was on Beale and stumbled on what looks like a definitive list of famous R's fans"

Right then, I only went and done it! Below is the list of names that have been mentioned above. Certain names mentioned were patently ridiculous and debunked in subsequent posts, eg Hugh Grant. Some are stretching the definition of "famous" but I left them in. Others were too imprecise eg "the one out of Eternal" so I left them out too. The list was compiled over 6 years so some are now dead or their fame has waned but irrespective of that I think they count as Famous Rs.
SEVEN esteemed posters separately answered with "Me" so maybe Michael Gove is actually a regular on here?
Lastly, Take any queries to Google - I really have no idea who half of them are. I've just listed 'em from above.

Fleetwood beat Arsenal on Pens!

Those 5 penalties from Fleetwood were as fine a set as you'll ever see at any level. It looked like they had been practising them all week and they executed them to perfection.

I thought Dibaga looked really good when he came on as a sub for the first team in the FA Cup game v Leicester earlier this year.

Stephens and Ward-Prowse at the end. You can see it means so much to them:

Will Tonda Sign A New Contract or Go Back Home ?
at 18:56 24 Oct 2026

The working relationship between Eckert and Spors goes back a long way They first worked together at Red Bull Leipzig ten years ago. This is a joint project between them.

That means, of course, Tonda will be offered a new contract and sign it, which is great news for us.

We've never experienced such a great win rate before over 50+ games. We really owe him for that:

Let's hope not, or he'd leave us for Spurs.

Of course he will. He has a brilliant relationship with the Club. He's going to want to see what he can achieve with us in the Premier League, but plenty of other top flight clubs will be circling round. He's probably the best young manager around at the moment.

Credit to our fans too. You could only hear them. Saints seemed to suck the belief out of the West Ham players and fans. When West Ham scored that late goal, most of the home fans had already given up and left.

Good to see Dobbin get off the mark at last. He's growing in confidence. He's never been a prolific goal scorer, but without his goal today, we wouldn't have won.

Happy return for Ward-Prowse too, although Walker-Peters looked fired up in the early part of the first half too.

Tonda certainly knows how to get Saints up for the big games. An outstanding performance against the most talented team in the league. Peretz, Stephens, Schlotterbeck, Bree, Ward-Prowse and all gave their best and showed real fighting spirit in tough conditions. Brilliant.

Shame I've got to go now. You and '73 have made me laugh so much.

"Are you now calling me a troll? "

No, do you want me to?

"And what words do you think on this site have assonated your character?"

I didn't know you were into poetry, Butty.

assonate (verb)
assonated (past tense)

(of a word or line) have a sound, especially a vowel sound, that corresponds to another:
"using fail to assonate with rain""all the lines rhyme or assonate""the assonating phrase sweet sleep"

This is hilarious:

Did you mean: saints _fan _ 73 next bobby moore

AI Overview
On the Southampton FC fan forums (such as SaintsFans Network), users often bring up a running joke regarding saints__fan__73, who reportedly claimed that former Southampton player Calum Chambers was "the new Bobby Moore".
This prediction has since become a lighthearted meme among the fanbase to mock overly optimistic player comparisons, especially given how Chambers' career subsequently progressed.

I actually didn't say those words. They were first posted by an internet troll as a joke then reposted by you as if they were true. If it was more defamatory, you'd be hoping to settle out of court, but I'll let you off this time.

I did, however, say that Forster was a decent keeper. At least you got something right.
