Evening TOOT, I've been up in London village all day on a team event and have tried several times to send you a PM, but for whatever reason I have no control over, it hasn't worked.

I get that you are not comfortable with criticism of others content, and lord knows some of my content over the years (BLM for instance) has ruffled a fair few feathers, but that is the beauty of what we have here - an open an honest community where we all have a voice and are entitled to use it.

Cards on the table, I admit I've found much of what Sparkfilms posts on his very personal "Tigers" thread irrelevant, to the point that I blocked him for a while because I just couldn't be arsed with reading it.

Criticism of content is fine, please don't leave for that!

OFFS, my post wasn’t a cry for attention, no one was supposed to reply. It was just me having the common decency of replying to GH and saying goodbye as I slipped away quietly. We are poles apart on how we see the issue and I can’t be arsed to argue anymore, because it’s pointless. I expect that given time, my self-righteousness may fade, but in the meantime I’m on extended gardening leave.

Just for the record, as far as I’m concerned, Sparks is a Col U legend for many reasons and over the years U’s supporters don’t get more genuine than him. I thank him for taking the time to share his thoughts with me, sometimes I chose to read them, sometimes I didn’t.

I've got a lot of sympathy for your point of view. At a time when people seemed to be coming together after the death of a valued contributor to this forum, I find it hard to understand negativity to another contributor. Especially as no one is forced to read anything if they find it irrelevant.
