800 U's fans - what am effort!
Solid performance against a side that could play. Good use of substitutions (Sears had been ineffective, Bean was tiring having run his legs off) meant U's dominated last 15 minutes. Drey Wright and Andy Bond (latter only touched ball once to score) gave us the fresh legs for Wright to carve the Gills open.
A result somewhat ground out against good opposition. But a deserved win.

From afar a great start to the season for Joe and his troops. Just seen Bond's goal on the TV which was well taken. Liked his positional sense and awareness.
