| Forum Thread | Great article on the four year plan in the athletic at 08:49 11 Feb 2024
For those with access, the athletic has a great article on the four year plan documentary, interviewing all involved included the director, mitral, briatore, Paladini and various players and coaches. It's crazy what a nutter and awful human being briatore is, still to this day. |

I think what we are seeing with Armstrong is these first halves where he causes chaos, and then at half time, the opposition regroups and they know his threat and focus on shutting him out, which combined with him tiring a little, means he has less impact. Their number 6 was going to get sent off the way Armstrong was embarrassing him the first half today... But second half was a different story. |

yeah, very harsh on Kakay. a player who always gives his all, and he has no duty to accept a loan out. Maybe he's got family/kids and wants to stay with them and not uproot them for the sake of a few months. Just because he's not a great footballer doesnt make him a terrible person. |

I watched a Lazio game there...it was ok but a little dull and facilities weren't great. It was fun but nothing compared to the German match day experience....highly recommend catching a game there if you can. |

Shock and War on the second iraq war is good. Guardian football weekly is always great. I'm not a monster, on Shamima Begum, is a good listen. Hunting Warhead is brilliant but a brutal listen as its on the investigation to shut down a paedophile site on the dark web. I'd also second the recommendation on Winds of Change. Its a pretty funny podcast, and a lot lighter listening than a few of my tips! Each series of the BBC podcast, Intrigue, is very good other than the most recent which i didnt get in to. The one on the West germans tunnelling in to the East is great. [Post edited 16 Jan 10:49]

I just did mine. got caught doing 23 in a 20 mile an hour zone. It was actually informative to be fair, and i have slowed down partly as a result. Also had one guy who insisted on telling us all multiple times how unfair it all was. Clive's sounds like comedy gold. |

Just to add to my earlier message, Hamburg was brilliant....been to berlin, hamburg, Frankfurt and Cologne and Hamburg was the best by some way. Really fun city, great beer halls and the football experience is one of the best ive had. |

Would also recommend. Went with two friends for our annual European football trip there. Cant remember who we saw (ot FC Koln) but as always in Germany, was good fun. The city is small but very nice. Lots of nice old pubs and a few good spots to eat. We were 3 guys in our late 30's but having a relatively calm trip. We also got the eurostar there via a change in Brussels. Takes a while but a great way to get there too. |

Went to see Valencia on our last trip BUT didn't know that Seville had two teams so that's def an option. Think Utrecht may tick all the boxes so far though. Cheers for all the tips. |

Lille are away that weekend, its a good shout otherwise. Italy tempts me but I don't trust them not to move a Milan game to sunday and we'd need to fly back then. Utrecht is looking good, especially as we can get the eurostar to Amsterdam and there are other games nearby if need be. |

Looking at going away for 2 nights with mates for an annual football weekend. Weekend of Sept 30th....options so far are Utrecht, Club Bruges, possibly Hamburg (was amazing, but have done a game there already), or Santander v Bilbao, but flights may not be doable for that. Any thoughts? Open to other suggestions in Belgium and Holland especially, as I know nothing about those places/grounds. Germany is amazing for football but the fixtures/flights arent lining up well for us unfortunately, and Munich 1860 clashes with Oktoberfestso flights are £300. |

ha ha amazing. Alan Wilder, former depeche mode keyboardist had a season ticket next to us in south africa road for a good few years. Very nice guy. Rush Brevett was in the stand a fair bit after he joined Fulham. |

PArents have a house in Normandy so we go most years. Arramonche as mentioned is a good spot and actually quite a nice little town. One thing I would suggest, which I don't think has been mentioned, is visiting one of the German cemeteries. The contrast to the big American ones, which are full of visitors and major 'attractions' (justifiably so) is quite jarring....you will literally be one of the only people there. It's quite sobering. |
| Forum Thread | Non QPR: Financial (possibly legal?) advice needed at 10:12 20 Mar 2023
I recently left my job and have share options in the company. They have emailed me about getting my vested options converted to equity and asked me to sign a Notice of Exercise form. Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm wary of signing the document without a full understanding of the terms within it for obvious reasons. Would ideally like someone to review it but don't have a financial advisor etc. [Post edited 20 Mar 2023 10:12]
