I can see it now! Ferdinand, Lescott, Kaboul, Lampard, Parker & Eto’o all in. £70,000 a week minimum... |

Chester City FC were liquidated a few years back I seem to remember, but they're back as Chester FC, albeit in a much lower division. Perhaps Coventry City will drop the City and reform in the doldrums of British football. I never liked them but it's always a shame to see clubs vanish. |

Is Suk Yun our only left back (when Traore goes)? Anyway here it is, providing the whole squad is available: ---------------Green---------------- Simpson-Dunne-Hill-Suk Yun ---------Henry---Faurlin--------- ---Taarabt-----------Hoilett----- ----------Remy-Zamora---------- |

Are we honestly selling/shifting any player who poses a threat to the opposition goal? At my last count we have three senior strikers, one of which will probably not turn out for us this season depending on a court case or lucrative transfer and two players who's fitness cannot, as of yet, be relied on. Yet we've let four proven goal scorers at this level go of which two in my opinion could have done a job for us. It's our excess in midfield who we should be cutting loose before we blunt our already dull attack any further. We've lost Cissé, Campbell, Bothroyd, Hulse & Mackie without anyone coming in. Bad allegory but this stinks like Stalin's purge of his generals prior to the build up to WW2, right now I cant see how any defense in this league would feel worried by our goal threat |

He's been Man U's manager longer than I've been alive and he's been winning the league for as long as I can remember. I think its about time he stands aside. My only wish now is for my "London Reds" mates to learn some humility and for Manure to go on a barren run for a few years and possibly struggle for top 4. It probably wont happen mind... |

My father and I did wonder why Cotterill was sat up with Tony and Phil during the Reading match. Maybe as someone else stated 'Arry as Director of Football and Cotterill as Coach? |

Quick question - Is kick off at 4:10? If so, does anyone know why it's ten past and not the usual Sunday 4pm? |

Had a cheese called Tunworth the other day. Best cheese I've had in a long while. Where did you get the Epoisses from? |

They committed 22 f*cking fouls and no booking for Holt. Disgusting really, accumulative fouling seems to be the way a lot of teams play these days. So much for the beautiful game... |
| Forum Reply | Next three games will define our season. at 13:26 1 Dec 2012
I was speaking to my Fulham fan mate last night, he was talking about their season when they stayed up on goal difference. Said they basically went on a run of top four form and that's what kept them up at Readings expense who were failing at the end of the season. I think if we can get that sort of run a little earlier it could be enough when the other teams start to slump after the new year. Though I'm not sure about Harry's thinking when he says that if we get enough points in Dec then he could bring some in some players in Jan, why would the players give their all in Dec to be potentially replaced in Jan? |

I would, we have enough in midfield to cover him for a match. When do they clean a players slate for cards, is it half way, or have I imagined that? |
| Forum Thread | Fergies Former Players as Managers at 17:21 23 Nov 2012
Been a lot on SSN today what with the statue unveiling and the fact we'll have had 26 managers in the time he's been at Manure. I've been thinking have any of his former United players turned managers actually been as good as their hype or do they only get high profile jobs based on the fact they "might" have learnt something under him. I'm talking about Hughes, Bruce, Keane, Ince and to a lesser extent Robson. Without checking the web I think only Bruce is currently a manager. I can't think of any other league club in the last 26 years to produce so many managers. And with a lot of talk recently that a good option would have been to get Solskjaer and/or Neville will they be any different if they entered managing in England? |
| Forum Reply | a case for hill at 16:09 9 Nov 2012
Hughes available defensive options from the 25 are Hill, Traore, Ferdinand, Onuoha, Nelsen, Bosingwa. Haven't included Dyer as I'm not sure whether he's considered a midfield or RB by Hughes. It's not exactly rich pickings. I'd like to see a back four of Bosingwa, Nelsen, Hill and Traore for Stoke and then Mbia replacing Hill once he's back. But if this was Football Manager I'd be right in the market in January for a solid centre back, maybe even two. Anton should be cover, not a first choice. Was Bowen's story about Luke Young true? I hadn't heard anything about him being injured, I'd presumed he'd become surplus to Hughes grand plan. |
