Comment from the kit sponsor event, Lucas Andersen wouldn't be sad to see Plymouth go - it's a LONG way. |

Had a look round the kit room and tried to see if there was any new kit around but nothing. They previously said the away kit would be out in June. |

This was yesterday and was probably the most professional it's ever been. Knowing we were safe took some of the tension away and everyone was on form. https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/2024/may/03/2324-kit-sponsors-event/ Biggest difference from previous years was the professionalism of the manager. He's SO focused, SO on everything, SO professional. EVERYONE said what a change he had made and some of the things he does - I was impressed before, even more so now. AND we spotted Taylor Richards. |

I can't quite believe they're real people. |

This is the problem - his partner's family are all Gooners. Jnr doesn't come to football much any more but I can sense a few QPR babygrows betting purchased and a slow indoctrination and wanting to spend time with Granddad on a Saturday. |

I thought it was to manage an overspill. They expected lots of Leeds fans without tickets to travel and they couldn't let them in. I'd assume the police were involved and made the call to create a space they could be put to avoid public order issues outside the ground. |

What's it they say, days drag and years race by. It seems like it was only a few months ago we were all upstairs in the Bushranger. |

Some of the people who have been on this board since the old Rivals days might remember my son - E17Jnr. He's now grown up and is going to be a Dad, making me a Granddad later this year. For the grandparents here - is it much fun as everyone says? |

I said a week ago I thought PA would struggle get another point against Waaaal and Hull. I do feel for them a bit but it's a pig of a trip, specially on a weeknight. |

This. The fact he can see his brother getting PL wages for not being that much better must turn his head. 100% is spot on but if money is more important than football, go and don't let the door hit your arse on the way out. |

There's real debate in the circles I work on this. Canary Wharf is at 80% of pre-Covid levels...on Thursdays only. Every other day is significantly down and the whole market for West End and City is c.30% short of pre-Covid levels. There's a general acceptance this is probably the best it's ever going to be now; people have decided time commuting is wasted and expect more from work than they had before. This presents some interesting issues for UK pension funds. A lot of traditional pension funds are in land and office space and the dividends on these will suffer in the long term - there has to be a major shift in pension funding in the future. They recognise this in the US and the Return to Office (RTO) is much louder and insisted upon. There are a couple of interesting books on this stuff for anyone interested - The Nowhere Office and Working Assumptions by Julia Hobsbawm are excellent reads on how work is now and peeks into what it might be. I'd also strongly recommend Unf*cking Work: How to Fix it for Good by Neil Usher - a QPR fan who has been in this space for years. |

Had to do it with one dog and numerous cats. Never easy and sorry for your loss. |

Convivial have gone bust apparently. They couldn't really complain if we used a different shirt now. |

We have done it before. In 2009/10 we had a new kit and they released at the end of the season with an option to purchase it for the last home game of the previous season. We played Plymouth and drew 0-0. |
