In these dark times, one of the little things that have helped me get through it are these gin infused beauties. Having tried all the flavours on offer in Lidl, I was recommended the range on offer by Aldi and what an Aladdin's Cave it is. Currently trying 'Summer Trifle' a bit cough syrup like but with a pleasant after taste, however a friend reckons the lemon sherbert flavour is to die for. So die I must.......
Union are probably going to get their largest ever viewing figures on Sunday when they host those wichsers from Bavaria, who hopefully have stuffed themselves with too many bratwursts during the lockdown. A good one to start with on Saturday, the Ruhr derby, Germany's biggest and best, although instead of eighty thousand at the Westfalen the only one in attendance will be the Reinemachefrau. Still it's better than the Belarusian League.
Not the title of a Half Man Half Biscuit song but nationalities that have never worn the hoops. I can't think of any Swiss either. Nor Estonia, Lithuania, Russia,Romania, Moldova,Greece,Nth Macedonia, Slovakia, Albania, Ukraine, none of the Caucasas. Plenty of Africans, West Indians, South Americans no Colombians unfortunately. Someone please tell me that Josef Schicklgruber played one match in the '90's.
The highlight of my week tomorrow as I'm off to the Post Office. So if anyone wants a copy of my diminishing stocks of GfD let me know as I don't want to expose myself unnecessarily to joggers and cyclists on the pavement.(Not since the restraining order.)
The difficult second book covering the last decade should be ready for empty beach reading in the summer.
