Especially when that expertise is written about on a personal level. |

I'm not convinced Beckwith is yet up to playing for much longer than he has done. In the last 5 minutes, he was struggling to get back with any pace. Although, with Taylor and Tobi now both injured, he may have to start on Saturday. |

That will depend on if he returns to the bench for league matches. |

I hope you're right, but I'm not convinced those crowds will be as bumper as you think. Grimsby is on a Tuesday night when attendances generally drop a bit anyway, while Accrington have only averaged 421 travelling fans on their visits since they returned to the EFL. It's a shame the two games aren't the other way around, as I think Grimsby might have brought more on a Saturday than a Tuesday, whereas I don't think it will matter either way for Accrington. |

I've spoken to Stuart this morning and he says he's happy for you to pop in for a chat or to email him. |

Thank you. I will pass on your comments to those who are responsible for the logistics. I suspect part of their argument will be that it's not easy to predict which particular sellers will sell out, hence it's not easy to know how many programmes to give each of them. Perhaps visiting the shop before going to the turnstiles at the next couple of home games would help. I know it's not ideal, but it's a five minutes walk and you could talk to Stuart Ashworth about the issues. |

The only game to sell out before a game this season was Crawley and even then, some emerged later from the exec boxes, etc. Perhaps those individual sellers you mention had run out of what they had been given, but the programmes as a whole haven't all been sold. As 442 says, they are all available on the online shop and in the physical shop. Knowing exactly how many to print is an impossibility, because who knows how much the 'demand' will be? We didn't sell 150% more v Oldham than v Gillingham, for example, despite the crowd being around 150% higher. When you're trying to at least break even, and given my comments above, it seems those deciding the numbers have so far got it right (which I don't think they did at the York match in April, but that's history now). And there won't ever be an online version on my watch! [Post edited 4 Oct 22:49]

They didn't, but most players tended to stick to the same shirt number, until two players who had both worn, say, number 10 in previous games, were picked in the same team, then one had to change. |
