Ewood'nt believe it if i told you... BUT QPR vs Blackburn Rovers match thread
at 20:29 14 Feb 2026

Awful performance. Absolutely awful. Pointless going away from home set up not to lose (at Charlton), then serve that junk up next home game. Still, it's QPR and we'll probably have a blinder and a win next week up at Hull because that's the type of nonsense we do 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Agreed. Only comes on to wnk off over a defeat whilst slating the manager and trying to offend as many as possible

For the last few years on here, SE has generally wanted every manager sacked after every draw or defeat

Well that was a truly awful game. We were terrible. Complete opposite of last weekend. Thought he picked the right team, but looked like he set us up to play far too negatively. Just fcuking set up away as we do at home and go out and try to win away games. Still, he's doing a good job overall.

Boring boring Arsenal
at 10:43 4 Feb 2026

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The EFL and it's clubs should have the minerals to breakaway completely from the EPL. No promotion from the EFL to the EPL, no relegation to the EFL from the EPL. Also, no EPL clubs in the League Cup (perhaps allow Conference sides to enter instead to replace them).

Give it 10-15 years, the EPL could well collapse in this country and the EFL will be flying (it would be the 'flag bearer' for people in this country who actually like football and who enjoy going to watch it)

Said exactly this to my mate. I don't watch much football these days (other than QPR) because I find the modern game with the constant long stoppages extremely boring, but I'm even getting bored of watching QPR now because of it all

OK 1st half, pony 2nd half. Too slow on the attack as well. Break quickly ffs. In short, struggling to score goals and struggling to keep goals out. God help us at an improving Sheff Utd on Sat.

Looking like another long Winter ahead for this club 😞

Think it's something to do with modern footballs being so light that they wobble in the air, thereby making you mpre likely to spill it if you try to catch it. The punch is, therefore, less risky. That's how I understand it anyway

I spent a lot of time with Graham Poll on the England cricket Test match tour to New Zealand last Winter (and yes, he's QPR). Listening to him is interesting. Lovely fella and full of stories. He's also got the 'thick skin' to which you refer.

That's my mate Southgate filming that. I was just to the right. I did the full tour (as I'm also doing this time). What a tour it was. One of the best I've been on. Only about 6 weeks to go now. Fly out early Nov. Come on England

Beautiful 🙂

We (Barmy Army) went into the clubshop at the SCG on Day 1 and bought every single Mitchell Johnson badge they had and wore them throughout the Test Match (with 'his bowling is shite' written on each one with a marker pen). Memories!

Ah, Sydney 2011. What a time to be alive. Great memories (did the full tour that time (2010/11) as well).

Hoping this tour/series gets somewhere close to that one for us.....

I'm heading over for the full series. My 5th Ashes tour, which will take me past the 70 away Test Matches mark. Can't wait.

I think we've got a great chance this time. Go hard, early, with the full complement of quicks (Archer, Wood, Carse, Atkinson, Stokes). Bethel in for Pope at 3 (mainly on the basis that he can provide some left arm part time spin (to add to Root's part time spin), but also because I think he'll be a better option than Pope at 3 anyway).

Bring it on
