He managed to take 12 points from the top 6.

since our transfer window, from the Blackburn game that's 28 points from 16, which is comfortable playoff form.

5.2/1 on Betfair. I've had a few bob on it .. I fail to see how we are such a big price.

To put this in context we were 11/2 to win away at Leicester

Did Preston lend them their goalie for that last goal ?

I find it amusing that clicking on that link to get the news story on the Official site brings up the huge banner add for NordVPN.

Armstrong New Contract ?
at 06:36 7 Apr 2024

Armstrong's not helped by the fact that when he does get behind the opposition defence, he then has to wait 30 seconds before any of our lazy arsed players saunter into the final third to offer him a pass.

So we'd have no players and a very rich manager on 10 million a year ? ;)

I'm sure the EFL will find a way to fine us for this.

We really need to capitalise on their injury and suspension issues. Without Jack Clarke they have little threat, and they have significant defensive injury list.

That being said we are Charity Park Rangers so who knows.

Field
at 12:22 8 Mar 2024

I was saying to my brother the other week when he was suspended and both Colback and Hayden played well that I didn't see how he got back in the side because he didn't offer the ability to receive, turn and distribute the ball.

Wednesday, Field made me eat those words, and I'm so happy that he did, as it is difficult to find a more likeable player in that team.

Not only did he put to bed any ghosts from his misses earlier in the season, but he was picking up turning and distributing the ball in a way I've rarely seen from him on those occasions he did go deeper..

We've now got genuine competition for those midfield positions, and options to play with a 3 , or a 2-1, or a 1-2, or a 1-2-1.

Chair

Part of why he looked less influential yesterday was that WBA nearly always had four or 5 around him when he was playing on the left. One of the reasons we had more joy down the right.

When Willock came on, and Chair moved more central he started to influence the game more.

Round 35
at 12:02 4 Mar 2024

Round is the correct term and it isn't an Americanism.

Each group of games in the fixture list encompassing all teams in the league is a round.

It allows for assignation of each game to a group of games regardless of when it is played.

So for example if a game from the first weekend of the fixture list(Round 1) is postponed to the end of the season it is still grouped together in results with the fixtures from the first weekend as a set of results.

To be fair to Begovic, I've rewatched it several times, and it looked like it moved late.

To be fair Begovic had very little to do in the 2nd half, the defence in front of him was just that good.

New CEO meeting

Fans will go on the attack based on nothing more than conjecture lies gossip and rumour.

Even if you put the information out there, its not going to make much difference to those that stick to the make believe over facts of which there's far too many on this board and in the wider fan base.

As I said, he can't win no matter what he does. Even if we won the premiership in 5 years time, people would still be moaning about the water pressure in the SAR bogs ( and that is a fact the there's pretty much none ;) ).

New CEO meeting

Nourry's not going to win with some fans no matter what he does.

He's not going to fix the club overnight, and he's not necessarily going to know all the problems that need fixing straight off the bat... certainly not the ones most concerning to the fanbase unless he has some form off communication with them.

How is he supposed to know what the biggest concerns are amongst the fanbase without meetings like the one he's just had?

Time will tell whether he acts on anything, but listening and identifying a priority list of things that need addressing is the first thing. I can't see where people get off criticising for that ?

Willock completes Rangers' Rotherham revival - Report
at 08:45 26 Feb 2024

The main problem other than Begovic was that Hodge was not doing his job.

With each goal kick Dunne was pushing upfield as he did against Bristol but whereas Anderson slotted in at right back to give the option Hodge was wandering around the centre circle until someone yelled at him and he woke up to what he was supposed to be doing.

I think that contributed to him being hooked at halftime
