No membership vote as they could'nt trust the 80 thousand idiots who voted for Truss's fairytale economic programme not to be as gullible and stupid second time round.

Dominic Cummings (ex Tory Strategist) said in a tweet in June 'she is about as close to properly crackers as anybody I've met in parliament' (and that includes Michael Fabricant!)

Yet the thought of being told honestly by somebody who was'nt a 'typical Tory' was too much for the party membership who voted for Truss regardless.

I’m looking forward to the next Labour government changing the law making it compulsory for a GE if a PM leaves office. Maybe make it mandatory fora by-election if a sitting member changes parties. | | | |
