I know I am like a broken record but SW were bottom of the league and dead and buired when the new guy came in and played superb stuff to survive fair play to them.
Between Marti and Rohl they have performed miracles with basically the same players who got them in trouble that is some feat .
Plymouth saved themselves and Millwall pulled the trigger and changed Managers who worked his own magic .
It gets tougher and tougher each year but the teams comming down in the next 2 weeks are nowhere close to Leicester and Leeds or Southampton IMO so its game on next year |

I suspect there is no chance they will hold on to Sammie if a top team comes calling and that will really test Eustace losing all those goals . |

After reading that incredible preview from Clive and all the replies down to yours Ted I was struck by your post and sat in silence for a while .You were standing in the same spot in Loftus Road with your son a full lifetime (65 years ) after you stood there as a boy just says something about QPR as well as yourself .There is huge significance in that not only your loyalty to QPR but life coming full circle and the wheel still spinning with the next generation who will probably live through the same rubbish you have endured as well as the good times .
See what Marti can do this summer and maybe you will be back again its the reward you and all the old timers deserve . |

WTF indeed is this the way its going to be until we kick off in July/ August its going to be impossible to be calm haha.
I thought Sunderland were hot on the heels of the Sheffield Wednesday manager or are they waiting until SW are safe saturday. |

We had a few posts about his Liverpool adventure as the 4th official when Klopp was launching an attack ( same as always ) but Stroud kept his cool to be fair .
It might be his reward if he is retiring a few high profile 4th officials being seen around the world .
Would like to see him send call the ref over and send off Arteta or Pep it would be great sport |

As much as I was bitterly disapointed by his ever present starting spot in our first 11 without coming close to justifying it the time has come to let him off the hook and see how his career turns out .
At the very least he was available for selection unlike Richards who somehow is still drawing a paycheck to this day for nothing and I mean nothing .
He HAS to be cut next Saturday evening otherwise its something that will linger and upset the fanbase IMO |

Does anybody actually know if Marti is secured for a couple of years or can be tempted by a stash of cash 
Hope he sees the eletric response he has created and stays loyal to QPR the first club that opened the door to his English adventure .
Remember its not just Marti that would be poached away but Calm also they are joined at the hip and such an incredible success in a few months for us |

Clare spring back to life surviving a bloodbath in Cork city where the body count was high but another superb game of hurling .
Limerick are dominating as usual but Tipp look like they are rubbish so far but have 3 more chances .
Kilkenny got caught at the death by Galway so they will just meet again in the Leinster Final so business as usual.
Great weekend in my house , QPR won ,Clare won and just watched Lowry and McIllroy win the New Orleans PGA tournament |

Lost in all the euphoria of friday night was the pretty poor keeping of Meslier who kept Leeds in the PL 2 seasons ago literally by himself .
Not taking anything away from our magic display but he should have saved 3 of those or did a bit better but luckily he did not of course .
Leeds are still in a good spot of course but their attitude seemed way off like they gave up or simply got overwhelmed by the good guys |

High stakes game on Sky the officials had to be at the top of their game and luckily they were .Its been a long time since I read Ref= excellent on a match report so Bond contributed to an incredible evening by being invisible which all good ones are |

Only for a few incredible wins we would have been down last summer but only for Marti came along we would have been gone months ago IMO.
The big question is coming up in a few weeks when clubs chop and change and thats where will GA end up if anywhere .
Is he going back to his safe place (Wycombe ) another League 1 team or further down the table .
Only then will we really know how bad his QPR reign was viewed by people who make decisions in football.
Maybe he was in Loftus Road Friday (i hope he was )and I am certain he would be thrilled these players stayed in this division but only because Marti and his superb side kick Calm showed up |

Clive will blow his top when he sees another thread about Begovic  .
Remember the absolute cluster fcuk 2 seasons ago when we had 5 keepers now look back at 23/24 when one man stood in goals for for every second of every game you have to tip your cap to him.
At every level keepers have nightmares its just last man standing syndrome and mistakes are highlighted and very costly its just the way it is .
He was a superb servant ,move him on if needed but lets give the man his due for playing a massive part in keeping us up . |

How many keepers in the whole football league played every minute of every game both cup and league besides Begovic I would suggest you could count on 1 hand .
The pressure he was under must have been crushing and nowhere to hide made it even more intense so fair play to him he never crumbled only for a couple of mistakes .
Field is a class player and genuinly loves QPR it sounds like so we are lucky he resigned for a few more years |

What an inteligent thoughtful person Marti is and so humble too after getting us over the line tonight .
Nice to see lots of smiles too the pressure must have been overwhelming all along .

We have a rescue dog from a shelter and no better animal walked this earth and shows it daily .When I come home she is paying the door waiting for me .When my daughter tore her ACL and came home drugged out we put her on the couch and the dog lay beside her for hours until bedtime because she knew she was hurting .
My mother in law fell ,hit her head and the police had to break down the door to get her so now she lives here the dog goes into her room every morning to greet her and talk to her basically its beyond incredible how they know they are needed .
I cannot imagine putting her down but when the time comes we are all going to hold her and look into her eyes so she knows what she means to us

I had a suspicion he might be battling something bad when they announced his decision to leave and only said he needed a break.
He does look a bit ragged right now but might just be a mixture of stress, dissapointement anger etc.
Hopefully he will recover when he heads back to Germany because I like him just wish he would stop moaning and attacking reporters doing their jobs |
