I was empathising with the man from Jenner Park that is all.

Swansea u21 got walloped by TNS and Sheff utd u21 by the same score 5-1. SUFC had three Premier league first teamers in their squad.

Good learning experiences. Joe Thomas who was marking him tightly and has done well was on the six yard line Evan Watts in goal. A cross came in and Osula buried the header despite their presence. It was never in doubt. Those were not focussed like he was. He has played PL. Arbalaster and Mason Holgate were the others.

Could Swansea buy Rushworth?

They would need total faith in Watson. Recruitment is a mystery. When Scott came in he said they had to modernise the systems and leave a legacy. What happened when Scott left player he scouted turn up at Forest like Surridge and Keenan Davis.
Watson arrives and he says it was heath Robinson again. Do the recruitment people walk away with the data banks and systems. Huw had his recruitment fellow for years Ledbettef who kept a very low profile Huw took the credit or brickbats himself whether it be a free Gomis or Fat Franck.

Probably Furlough was the problem. Impossible for the authorities to check everyone. A massive "notional tax hand" back for British business.

Africa Russians taking advantage of Western malpractice?
at 13:29 3 May 2024

Africans have long been complaining of Western countries and firms exploiting the locals and winning contracts by bribery and corruption. These days African countries are working more with Chinese and Russians.

Wagner were hugely corrupt and violent so it might be out of the frying pan into the fire. Prigozhin was thought to control mines and worth billions. It does not suggest progress to me but who knows. It is a shame Western Governments did not operate more ethically. One is reminded of the mess Maggie's boy got into. Arrogance on stilts.

It is time the Swansea s outstanding goalkeeper coach starts producing goalies for the club. Evan Watts is Wales u21 and looks the part a few brain f®rts aside. I do not know if Margetson rates him. Margetson did not seem to rate Benda for some reason although he looked athletic and brave preferring Woodman.

All that work paid for by the club and Brighton benefit. Broome has barely been seen.

I tried to explain the £8m is not madness for a " sure fire bet" . Rushworth is likely to be worth much more than that in 2 years. He will be third choice at Brighton

Steve Kaplan has confidence in him and he is a giant of the USA financial world being a founder member of Oaktree Capital for $7.5 billion. Not peanuts. If his holding was 10% he would have got a cheque $750m. Swansea with a $25m turnover is small beer.

The club increased revenue from somewhere by £1.5m which is progress. TV probably.
More functions at the stadium sell more merchandise in Wales and overseas job cuts. Rejuvenating the team with hungry lions. The like of Abdullai, Lissah, Wilson and Parker must play.

Swansea missed a trick with Ki and the South Korean link I felt. They were due to do a tour but cancelled ita decade ago.

Loans are for development purposes. He by his own admission could not in a better place. Brighton have forked out £16m for a Dutch keeper and have the current keeper as well.

So it is loan or sale. If it is a loan Swansea is good because as he says Swansea play the same way as Brighton.

Have you been living under rock for 10 years? UK has privacy laws. You have no use for this private information. You need to show some common sense.

The Data Protection Act 2018 is the UK's implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Everyone responsible for using personal data has to follow strict rules called 'data protection principles'.

Imagine you were a US owner of Swansea and worth a billion or two as were a couple of your mates on the board. Could Swansea make an offer for Rushworth. £8m cash.

https://www.sussexexpress.co.uk/sport/football/brighton-and-hove-albion/award-wi

Of course Swansea would have to sell Wood and pay him £10k for sustainability reasons as explained by Mr McGuire.

It seems to me Rushworth is as close as a "sure fire bet" in transfer terms you are going to get. Uncle Sam wants sure fire bets and has the cash.

Google

""The Chairman's main job is to lead and coordinate the Board of Directors' activities. Chairmen have significant authority within their company's board and are responsible for guiding its actions. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of the company.""

Winter was the CEO until the end of June 2023 while Coleman was the Chairman from May working side by side. Winter was in charge of the budget he set in July 2022 to July 2023.

It looks to me as if Coleman was in charge of the budget for the month of July 2023 only as he took over the role of Chairman and CEO. They had a 2 month handing over period.

Perhaps you can give details of the children's schooling arrangements of your family just to be consistent.?

It is off course not appropriate for me to ask you to provide this. Neither should you.

Some good news for Bridgend
at 13:48 2 May 2024

The Ford factory closed in 2020 not 2013. This was four years after the people of Bridgend followed the recommendation of their controversial MP and voted to make Ford s life a lot harder and uncertain with Brexit.

The Senedd lined up Ineos to make a new 4x4 vehicle nearby picking up presumably the freed up workforce . Sir Jim Radcliffe a Brexiteer then changed his mind and took his factory to France. The people made a bad mistake costing them thousands. The Senedd has got some jobs back. US investment as promised but not enough.

The voter got what he voted for. This is It. Loss of euro focussed motor jobs replaced with US tech jobs.

So Coleman has responsibility of the final month (of the financial year just reported on) after arriving in May 2023 and having a two month handing over period with Winter. The budget was set in July 2022 well before he arrived.

He may well have been unpaid in May and June and just sorting out personal affairs.

31 July. That looks coincidental . The exact date of the accounting period at Swansea. Perhaps his notice was until 31 July at which point he could join Blackpool. It is a not i very important to me.

You like me cannot even get your name right. Barry Town SWAM. It could be a CCFC reference of course.

I predict Merthyr will never get into the EFL. It was pre WW2 was they were last there.

Barry and Methyer based on fans should be bossing the LoW or whatever it is called these days. I watched Swansea u21 beat Barry quite easily in a pre season a few years back. Cullen hit a 30 yard free kick into the top corner.
