The Legend of the werewolf (1975) always gave me the heebie-jeebies as I was a teenager when I first watched it. |

I know it should be just a case of "well, don't pay it" (and I won't) but what pisses me off and everyone else too I'm sure is that why the fk should I be prevented form doing something that really should be within my realms? |

I've seen other things like this. Seems they 'owned' the phrase now. |

ST’ers who don’t attend are still counted. It’s not really an attendance figure, more of a tickets sold figure. |

14,173 according to the beeb. 1 point from two home games against two dogshite teams aint good. I’m greedy, should have been two wins and 15th place. |

Just seen the goal and that was Keogh-esque defending. So scared to get it wrong, you then get it wrong [Post edited 22 Oct 20:32]

These guys will have been playing football since they are, what, 7 or 8 years old at least. How can they not get the basics right???? |

As with all major sports (and concerts) the days of tickets being 2' 6" are long gone. Everything is demand-driven and rather than just setting a price and selling out it's a case of "what's the max price we can sell these at in order to sell out without jeopardising that". If there's 50,000 tickets for sale at xxx price and the demand is 500,000 then that's just a waste. They keep putting the price up (or more to the point work out beforehand) where the price will be at such a point that demand will drop to 50,001. Job done. Do they care if they're pi$$ing people off who really want to go but are priced out and have no choice but to miss out on something they would/should otherwise be able to go to? Nope. I was once in a meeting years ago where they spent 20 minutes on just one thing discussing the tipping point of what that item could be sold for before it puts people off. Nothing about the selling cost being reflective of the cost/value of the product etc, it's all about rinsing the most out of peoples pockets. [Post edited 22 Oct 17:09]

I’m usually in the “it’s only October” camp but the thing with this kind of situation is that there is much to catch up on and you now end up playing most of the season at the bottom in order to probably escape the drop at the end. It just makes for yet another grim season at best. |

IIRC wasn't there a strange situation where a QPR fan got arrested and ended up in Court when all he was doing was protecting his kid in the upper loft where away fans had got into and bloody well shouldn't have been in the first place? |

It's not just about the the stands and seating. Have you been on a stadium tour? I went a dozen years ago and things like the players changing rooms, the officials changing rooms, the managers room, the media rooms, the corporate hospitality etc were all woefully under par. The place where the manager gets interviewed after a game (with the sponsors board behind them) is in a corridor! There is virtually no opportunity to improve all of these, there just isn't the room. You could do a couple but then the others wouldn't get touched so what gets sacrificed? The ground is on such a tiny footprint I don't think all of those could even get spread around the stands, SAR pretty much accommodates all of that. I guess theoretically you could demolish and rebuild one stand at a time but then you'd probably be looking at a final capacity of around 15k and there are half a dozen or more League Two grounds bigger than that. Players, yes, (though Jack Charlton stretched that and other nations have dished out citizenships) but that boat sailed long ago in terms of Managers. |

I don't mind if a Manager is foreign as long as they are the best person for the job. I don't think Tuchal is but then I don't know who is and who's available and wants the job. |

I've had that problem with apps I've used once.... then months later I've forgotten my password though now I do have them automatically saved. I don't think it's a war on motorists as such, just that everywhere we go someone somewhere is taking the opportunity to fleece what they can out of people. |
