Irrelevant below the median line of direct operational necessity, juxtaposed with a lack of momentum thinking along the scale of obvious structured progression. |

Bless him, if Graham Taylor was managing England, I still think Carlton would get the nod over Cole. I too think he's done a great job, but that little edge required when the game's turning against you or, you're in the ascendant but not scoring, I dont think GS is the man at the helm at such times. That said: I'd love him to bring it home, he's been a class act in the role and will be a tough act to follow. |

He looks like one of the characters out of 'Trainspotting' and I don't mean Ewen McGregor or Robert Carlyle either. |

You are writing cheques I hope our midfield can cash. But we all now know what the 'b' in Daveb stands for: bold...and very bold at that!! |

Clive Allen - got a game on the South America tour when Barnes scored that goal at the Maracana, if I recallcorrectly. I think Stainrod was in the squad, but never came on. |

I'll reserve judgement until the big reveal, but until then, it sounds bloody horrendous!! |

Mate of mine was walking up a big mountain/hill overlooking Geneva earlier this week, and from a frosty and cloudy viewpoint looking down on the city, he sent a pic. There, proud on the handrail, a big QPR W12 sticker for all to see!! [Post edited 16 Jun 9:08]

The system that ignored him and others for so long, is taking a time to push through measures to legally exonerate them, and appears to be doing nothing to fast track compensation, suddenly finds the heart to award a gong to the bloke without whom, none of this would have come to light! It seems phyrric at best. If I were him, I'd post it back C.O.D!! But if he decides to keep it, then given some if the knobs who get them for donating cash to one political party more than the others, his is thoroughly deserved. |

You can tell a lot by where our yoof go out on loan to. It would be good if we could start getting lads in that L1 sides are chasing as opposed to clubs in leagues too far below that. Kolli going to a promotion chasing side that play a bit would be excellent news. |

He also should have put one away at home to Blackburn. But what little I've seen of him, I've been saying I'd put my eggs in his basket, as opposed to the big lad's. Certainly agree a loan to a good L1 club would be an excellent idea. |

I saw bits of an U21 game he played in, and formed this view: yeah, he stood out, but more in a Anthony Joshua bossing middleweights way than Sophia Vergara being the standout among the South African scrum. |

Your post affords me the opportunity to post one of my fave quotes. A reporter asked Nobby Stiles what he thought SAR would make of Carlton Palmer in the England team? Nobby simply replied: I don't think Sir Alf would have allowed him in the stadium, much less the team! |
