Dale given access of Evil Thursday, 22nd Nov 2007 06:19 Dale have re-signed former striker Lee McEvilly on loan from Accrington Stanley until January 2008, and the former Northern Ireland international will go straight into the squad for this weekend's game. With Chris Dagnall ruled out for the rest of the season, and Glenn Murray struggling for form, Dale boss Keith Hill has been on the look out for a new striker for a while. Scott Taylor at MK Dons was tried but in all fairness, it was a signing which didn't work out with the former Bolton man making little impact at Spotland during his month long loan at the club. So they've turned to Evil, with the former McDonalds worker joining on loan from Accrington for the next couple of months. Since leaving Dale, he had an excellent spell at Accrington, before an injury hit time with Wrexham. He rejoined Stanley in the Summer, but he has failed to settle there a second time round, and has yet to score in twelve showings. His time at Dale was certainly full of incidents, ranging from top class goals to controversial goals to taking on a set of Rushden hooligans after the Play Off game, and launching one against then manager John Hollins' car.
