Man City Launch Legal Battle
at 13:52 5 Jun 2024

Yeah, been reading all about this and have even heard that if Man City get their way then they won’t play them and are refusing to do so until they’re dealt with once and for all, for both them wanting to change the rules as well as all the blatant cheating they’ve done.

But I’m fairly certain that if City were kicked out, then that ESL would almost certainly start, especially with PSG loosing all their star players, and both Barca and Madrid probably getting bored of it over there.
Just gotta hope that if they do all bugger off to this super league, and whoever takes charge of restoring the English footballing ladder, does a much better job and keeps it competitive like it once was!

Yeah well I won’t there for a league game and have never experienced an atmosphere like that before! As that yellow wall sure was something else, and is exactly why I wasn’t surprised one bit with how great those Dortmund fans were at Wembley.
But still can’t lie but the city itself is quite boring though, so I’d only recommend going for a day or so, as outside of the stadium it’s only the German national footballing museum (which has some interesting exhibits, from an England one to a referee on).

Tbh if it meant that we could spend more of the money on getting Downes in as well as ssome more midfielders, attackers and a goalie, then yeah I’d be up for taking him

I think I’ve been to 32 of each teams current grounds, as well as 2 former grounds.
But also had some great visits to Wembley, Camp Nou, San Siro and the Westfalenstadion.

Stu Armstrong

Well I wish him all the best but tbh I think this may be the best for both saints and him. But still I’m sure he’ll always be welcome back at St Mary’s, especially with all the work and performances he’s put in for the club, from scoring his first goal for us against Fulham (which I’m pretty sure he got a brace against that game) to his most recent one against Preston, but not forgetting his most memorable one when he scored against Newcastle to send us top of the premier league! Sure wouldn’t mind getting in another younger player like him

Well I thought we were picking the ones we actually saw play ourselves? As yeah I sure would’ve loved to have seen him play, but seeing how I’m not over 40, unfortunately I didn’t get the opportunity to do so

But ain’t swearing and all that kinda what’s part of the game and to be expected when you go to them? As I don’t know many people who didn’t learn most of the swear words and such at football games, as there sure ain’t many songs without them.
As I’m not saying you’ve gotta swear to be a proper fan or such, but unless it’s words that are worse than your typical f bomb, then it’s not something you can exactly have a go at people for shouting when at professional top level games

You sitting next to him by any chance also in fancy dress? As I’d of though you’d of gone as Voldemort, as it would’ve saved you the hassle of getting any wigs…

Is this for how they’ve turned out, or simply how good they were for us? So like would Bale be a contender as a fullback or the winger he was for Madrid?

I highly doubt Stones will be leaving Man City anytime soon, as when he’s not been injured he’s been playing fairly often and with how much city are paying him as well as how much they’re winning, I can’t see him joining us fullstop, let alone this summer.
As if we’re to buy any defenders coming to the end of their career then I think it would most likely need to be off of a mid-table team, and I wouldn’t exactly classify many of them as an upgrade on what we’ve already got

Just watched the second episode and I think it may be paid by the clubs, as one of the cops was saying how he had his job on the line if the club lost and got relegated, which shouldn’t matter if it’s funded by the government

Juventus
at 18:15 3 Jun 2024

Unlikely, as I’ve got a few mates that work for saints and they’ve said that we loaned him to Juve because he wanted to play at the top level and the club was hoping to lower the wage bill, so they did it as they were fairly certain they’d buy him for £40m at the end of the season, even though there weren’t anything forcing them to after his loan ended. And from what I’ve heard the club just rushed it all and Juventus played their cards right, which is why they’ve not bought him, yet got him for half a season. So unless they do buy him, then I don’t think he’ll be going back there anytime soon from what I’ve been told

Yeah well I’m sure many were just your typical glory hunters that never go to football games which is why they cared so little for everything that happened and didn’t give a toss.
As the fact that so many went there with the intent of breaking in is just an embarrassment to the game and England

A lot coming out now with us supposedly going for Bellingham!…
Annoyingly not the Ballondor one but his brother, although he’s also been quite good for Sunderland recently.

Top 5 goals of the Season
at 16:08 3 Jun 2024

I’d go with…

1. Armstrong VS Leeds (playoff final)
2. Rothwell vs Huddersfield
3. Fraser vs Hull
4. Stu vs Stoke
5. Bazunu vs Preston (which may of been put down as an OG, but I still say it’s his)

Champions league final, Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund
at 22:04 1 Jun 2024

Sure has been one hell of a season for Bellingham, just gotta hope that he can end it all of now with a win for the 3 lions in the euros!
Still I wonder if any of the Madrid fans have found any saints stickers or such in their end seeing how we were the last ones there…

Should certainly be an interesting game, as mind you but wasn’t Dortmund last final for this also at Wembley when they played Bayern a while back?
