it is going to get a whole lost worse then. Why should a village half the size of Neath, once again get to keep its own team when Swansea and Neath basically amalgamated to become the ospreys and then took part of the Celtic warriors. |

About 30 years ago I was working for a market survey company (RSGB) and one of the projects was in the Llanelli/Carmarthenshire area researching local views of the daily/evening papers. I was completely shocked at bad feeling towards Swansea folk from those on the other side of the Loughor Bridge. |

How do I explain to my daughter, who has an IQ of circa 140 and a Law degree that she has the mental capacity of a 3 year old? |

Is yesterday's game a preview of the beginning of the ultimate demise of rugby in Wales? You could see the difference in just simple things like weight advantage. The line out was awful. The tactics were poor, probably because the team was picked to minimise failure. The discipline made it worse. WRU answer - get rid of the region that provides the heart of the team. They actually believe that the players will simply go to other regions or clubs. Rugby in Wales is not something that is finessed in Private Schools but rather a tribal community sport that has brought community spirit to all the areas around and if you break the back of that then the bitterness will prevail. I have been reading/watching a lot of the responses of the shenanigans over the last couple of weeks and it seems to me that the Scarlets are most willing to throw the Ospreys to the fire with a lot of petty digs. Again, to me that is what I refer to above when I say that rugby is that community game and bitterness will prevail and the treadmill supply of pleyers will simply stop and eventually Wales will drop to a third tier nation. |

I was listening to an interview earlier with a doctor. He has been paying off his 50,000 plus loan for ten years and he now owes 72000. There should be no interest on these loans. The figures are horrendous and the policy made my politicians who didn't have student loans so it had no effect on them. My daughter's three years are already over £60000and that interest will continue to accrue faster than she can pay off unless she get's that top law job but all the graduates are chasing those roles. |

its a good idea as long as it is followed up with the redevelopment of St Helens which needs the council and university on board as this city should go ahead with their plans in spite of what that pathetic capital try on. Swansea is some kind of hindrance. Cricket then rugby as Rich says. They would go for football as well. It is bizarre that Radio Wales is giving positive comments about Wrexham's spawny arrival in the play off's. That never happens when Swansea do well. |

Two local MP's are on the case to support the Ospreys. There is deafening silence from Gower MP Tonia Antoniazzi who, coincidentally, is on the Scarlets board. Tonia darling, you represent Gower constituents not frigging Llanelli. |

Britain was falsely enjoying the selling of the family silver which did bring immediate cash windfalls to the government and to the country but that was accompanied by long term negative consequences. Nothing is simple is economics and running the country but Thatcher was not a saint and neither was Blair. |
