One of my mates, who is originally from Mumbles was Director Fire & Resilience for the Home Office and he talked about many of the difficulties the Fire Service had in recruiting and maintaining female staff because of the above. He is now Chief Finance Officer and Director of Delivery, College of Policing so lovely new challenges |

That's how I saw it too. This is the bit that frustrates me as we know we can move the ball quickly and with precision.
We didn't deserve to win but we deserved a point and if the ref had given a red for a red challenge we might be looking at whether we deserved three points.

As a kid seeing the plans for the stadium and witnessing the first section finished it is such a "tragedy" the ground never got finished. I think the capacity would have been 35000 and what a beauty it would have been. I also loved that simple song Super, Super Swans |

As above, no doubt they are in the best of the Championship teams but they have just got dumped down a league because they weren't good enough for the Premier league.
They have excellent players but not good enough for the top league so let us see how we get on with our team playing at its best. Whilst I can't say I'm confident and a point will be a blinking good start, we do have three very good strikers who are as good or better than a former Swan and have the ability to get a result.
Anyway they knicked our song a hundred years ago so we they owe us |

Excellent result. I am frustrated by the silly back heels. How did so many of those sneaky nudges/pushes in back go unpunished and how did we get yellows and they did not. So many questions.
However, gutsy as.... well done for not getting bullied and weathered the storm and looked better for the rest of the game. |

Absolutely and if you are able to work but can not find a job then there should be programs where such people can use their labour/time to contribute. People should not face hardship because of unemployment but at the same time should not use welfare to avoid employment. |

I went to Split inter railing when it was still Yugoslavia in 1990, lovely place. Did go to Zagreb as well but only for a change of trains. They seemed like they were waiting for a revolution.
Did also spend New Years Eve in Salzburg and that was probably the best NYE I've had.
Swansea is where it is at though |

They don't get everything handed to them though. Certainly many get more than they would be able to afford if they worked full time and that is an inherent weakness in our welfare system but they don't get a yacht in the marina, a condo in Marbs or a Lambo in the garage (unless they are Dd's and on benefits)
Private school can cost 50K a year per child so the state school is seen as free at source as is the NHS. Your points don't fall on deaf ears and I have my own ideas on how to deal with those people. |

Excellent second half and in reality, bar the stupid Norwich goal, a very decent first half where we could and should have had at least two goals.
Yes, there were some petty basic errors and flicks that didn't come off which, for me is excruciating but team effort was outstanding and deserved a bigger win.
Really hard to say who is in our best starting eleven (apart from Vigs) but as Matos has clearly pointed out that this is a team and squad side |
