Even in the interview he says he knows he probably outstayed his welcome, a really humble guy and a shame he didn't play for us when he was younger as he was brilliant for Bristol City, Boro and Villa Played a big part in the start of fundraising for young Dottie and always going above and beyond, sent a nice video message to my son when he was in hospital and followed it up with a few messages checking up on him which he really didn't have to do That night at Orient was special dancing with the fans after we'd been so long without going to games |

I saw a bit of that John Terry interview, he came across as a complete prat and tried to play the victim |

Years ago when Nigel Spackman was manager of Barnsley he was sacked. On the old dot org board someone posted a thread that Spackman Sacked, this was followed by about 3/4 other people starting the same thread and then a few hours later someone else thought they were breaking the news so it just sort of grew from there. Whenever there was any sort of news someone would reply with Did you know Spackmans been sacked |

If we're allowed to be told by the club it will probably be next week if not just check the programme for the first home game next season |

I was up in Middlesbrough at the time and no trains down to London on the Sunday to get us back in time for lunchtime so my misses drove me to London leaving at about 5am and as she had never seen us win (had only been to about 5 games) she declined a ticket and drove back to her Dads for the day so that she didn't jinx it. Probably the most nervous I've ever been before a game |

I thought they were in the game until the sending off then they threw the towel in, I'd like to think that they were just crap on the day, I've seen QPR sides do the same |

| Forum Reply | Are we capable of going up next season. at 07:43 30 Apr 2024
with the current squad not a chance but with some good additions this summer there is a chance of the playoffs same as pretty much every other team |

yeah those two 6-0 ones the opposition were very good so as bad as we were you can sort of accept it, this was against a crap Blackburn side and 4-0 flattered us, I've never felt lower as a fan than I did that night |

Few stats on Chair Appearance wise he's made 235 apps for QPR putting him joint 50th with Mark Lazarus in most apps foe the club, he'll move past Lazarus if he features next week. If he stays next season and plays the same number of games he'll be comfortably into the top 30 He now has 44 Assists for QPR, only Lee Cook (52) and Kevin Gallen (56) have more since 1988 (yes I have been sad enough to go through the end of season videos and count them up for my website, with a little/lot of help from Clive's match reports) For reference Taarabt had 41, Freeman 38, Andy Sinton & Trevor Sinclair both 34 He's got the most assists in a season 3 times, 10 this year, 9 last season and 8 in 2020/21 He now has 34 goals for QPR, 33 in the Championship and in the second tier of English football only 7 players have scored more than that. Dykes (34), Gallen (35), Leach (36), Austin (42), Addinall (49), Clive Allen (52) and Marsh (64) I've also gone back from Loft for words archives and counted up Man of the Match awards since the site started in 2005/06. Chair has the most MOTM awards with 27, Adel just below with 25 then Faurlin and Rowlands with 19 |

I hope we are ruthless this summer. Of the out of contract ones I'd keep Dunne and Armstrong possibly Dixon-Bonner but other than that release the rest and re build this squad |
