Yan Dhanda offers to come from Leeds and Marseille
at 18:49 19 Jan 2021

I've got no idea as to what is in the SHA but that's not the point. The point is the existence or not of a SHA, wether the yanks were informed of it or were the Trust consulted prior to the sale. Is it true that Jenkins asked the trust to sign a legal document stating that no SHA existed?

I've no idea as to what due diligence was undertaken by the yanks legal team but they were kept in the dark regarding the share holders agreement.

How else do you think they were going to make money after spending nearly £70m on buying the club?

Yes Brad Bobby was an unmitigated disaster but he didn't get us relegated

They've had their money back and more???? What, £60m plus? 😂😂😂 You keep saying that they haven't put money into the club and I'm not disagreeing with that. The yanks were caught hook line and sinker by HJ's spin. They were hoping to keep us ticking over in the prem for a few seasons and then selling on at a profit. you know the rest

Without the fire sale of players we would have been in deep s#%t.

I didn't say they had put money in (taking us to the next level eh Huw) but to suggest that they've somehow managed to siphon funds out of the club is simply ludicrous and without foundation

First season back in the championship our turnover was £68m but our operating costs were £103m. So there's a deficit of £83m in 2 seasons!

I can't make my mind up as to which was worse, the £8m for Sanchez or the £15m for Clucas

Yes we did receive money from sales, £72m in fact but we also spent £66m including an £8m loan fee for Sanches

But it isn't made up, it's there in black and white if you can be bothered to look

During our relegation season the turnover was just shy of £127m yet our out going were over £175m but yet there are still people bleating on as to where all the money has gone

European clubs want to sign Ayew, but . . . . .
at 08:37 27 Aug 2019

Selling McBurnie has afforded us the luxury of keeping both Ayew and Baston. Birch had already stated we were under no financial pressure to sell after DJ has gone. McBurnie going was a Brucie bonus

Didn't Birch state after James was sold that we were under no financial pressure to sell anyone else. Since then we've pocketed another hefty wedge with the sale of OMc.

The stewards are supplied by a contractor so they are not on the books, same goes for the food and beverage outlets

That's not just players, it includes all staff. Somewhere in the region of 400 I think

Is Dan James money enough to satisfy this alleged debt that never decreases ?

But we didn't get rid of the highest earners, Bony, the Ayews and Baston. Our wage bill alone in the Prem was over 90mill and added to that another 25mill just on day to day running costs. We required some dramatic cost cutting to get these down to manageable levels.

The scenario is a bit simplistic. What about the running costs of the club not including wages? This was £500k a week in the prem although this should be substantially less with the cost cutting. And not forgetting the rent we now must pay for the stadium and it's upkeep
