Logan's return Wednesday, 10th Aug 2016 13:10 by Col Forget your midnight transfer announcements for the far east market, and stupid hashtags, Conrad Logan is back at Dale. Speculation had been rife since Tuesday afternoon when a cryptic message from Logan himself hinted at a return to Rochdale. We say cryptic, but it was as blatant as you get as he tweeted a picture of himself with Jack the Kitman wearing this season's training gear, and since then we all got a bit giddy. But we didn't have to wait too long for the news as the club confirmed on Wednesday morning that Logan had signed a short term deal keeping him at the Crown Oil Arena until the January transfer window - presumably a deal which will be extended should he establish himself as the club's number one keeper. Logan's previous spell at the club won him many a plaudit from the Dale faithful, proving himself to be a real lynch pin at the back. Injury brought an end to that loan period but eighteen months on and he's back at the club. He had a brief spell with Hibs at the end of last season and was a pivotal part in them winning the Scottish Cup.
