Dunno about kids. I've met some right middle-aged nutcases on my journeys with the Rangers. Rarely bump into them in the pubs, always seems to be a train where you're stuck with them for hours. |

I was / am delighted to be a bond holder. It's just as well I really didn't look for a return on the investment because this company doesn't exactly set the world on fire with their results. |

Look at his physique, he was never built for speed. His job should be the hurly burly rough stuff, which we don't seem to do much off, that and refs blowing for a fingernail contact. |

And annuver fing - we only recently had a thread on this board requesting people to list the QPR players they most 'despised'. I'm not the greatest at the use of English, but I do know that you're only a heartbeat away from falling into the same category as Smyth's abusers if you adopt a mentality of hate toward someone. I'd prefer they were identified, then given the choice of a public apology, with a lengthy ban or legal action. |

...came over me during the second half. By the final whistle it had settled in, and I was happy to do anything to occupy my mind. So, I did something I hate, I assembled a flat pack piece of furniture for Mrs Boston. Though delighted, she realized I wasn't well and offered to cook this evening's dinner (Mrs B isn't usually one for domestic stuff) which I accepted. Once my carpentry project was done, I cleared the snow from the driveway, by shovel, again to keep myself busy. Then I decided to walk the dog, which I do every day, but having noticed the chilly temps and in an effort to lighten the mood, I decided it was perfect conditions to wear a scarf (penny drops), why I have loads of 'em, brought over to this country with me when I moved, they've been in the bottom of a drawer ever since. Upstairs I go, dig around and pull out a big wooly variety with a large club crest on it. Wrapping it around my neck with the badge on full display, off I went, even popping into the hardware store for a tub of putty as we're refurbishing windows taken from a historic building at the moment. Returning home, Mrs Boston said she'd never seen me wear a scarf in our 37 years of marriage, which got me thinking, when was the last time I'd worn club colours? Y'know, I'm pretty sure it was the Derby 5-1 fifty odd years ago, when I'd sported a white silk with blue trim. Suspect 2026 will be a strange year. |

Amusingly, the BBC have their attendance listed as 74,649. [Post edited 1 Jan 17:06]

Extremely disappointing performance. Not like Norwich were much better, it's just how flat we were, especially gutting when we know there's a number of players in this squad who can really move when it suits them. Hi ho...or ho hum. |
