|RH admits defeat in the Echo and still they won't sack him.|
at 13:30 13 Nov 2019
He says the players are panicking during matches and are not able to complete his tactical instructions. Although the players are below the required standard for top half of the Premiership there is no need to ship so many goals. A bit of organisation at the back plus dropping his insane obsession with three at the back and two holding midfielders could easily improve our appalling defensive record by balancing defence with attack. What he has done here at Saints is identical to his final year at Leipzig where the DOF was trying to get him to curb his obsession with pressing in order to improve the goals against stats which were accumulating. He stubbornly refused and had to step down and now we've got the same problem and Gao hasn't got the money to sack him. I think, in hindsight, Gao may come to realise that he couldn't afford not to.

Sack must be imminent and a relief all round by the looks of it. He was too stubborn to change. We played with RH choice team in first half. That's five at the back, two out of position wing backs, Romeu and JWP as a joke midfield and RH wondered why they were short of confidence.
Second half he fields something more like the fans choice players, Boufal (our best player) completely transformed the team and injected some much needed energy and enthusiasm which resulted in a well deserved equaliser. If RH had played the fans choice team from kick off we could have won, but he is obsessed with defending even when that persistently fails to produce a result. Any other manager could get more out of the players than what we've seen. Let's hope we've got enough in the kitty.

Poor selections. Wrong positions. Suspect subs. Dopey Captain.
For God's sake sack him.

Would the team respond better to the tea lady rather than Hasenhuttl for the next few games? You never know they might rally behind her as she probably hasn't upset them like Ralph has. She could explain tactics using cups and saucers and use the tea tolley as an example pitch. She could show what two cups at the back looks like and wiggle a spoon between the oppos saucers to show what Boufal could do if our most talented player was actually put on the pith before 90 +6 mins.

"The time for talking and sending messages of apology is now over. It’s time for the players to do the talking on the pitch. Send the messages through performances and results."
Why's he still talking and sending messages then?

Leipzig at times struggled to find solutions against defensive formation and in the second half of the season, Hasenhüttl’s tactic seemed decoded. Playing predominantly 4-2-2-2 the head coach was internally criticised for lacking a Plan B, a solution to beat teams that did not give Leipzig room to counter. Another aspect was set-pieces, here Leipzig struggled both offensively and defensively to come up with solutions and then finally his defensive formation was lacking with Leipzig conceding too many goals in the later stages of games.
