Thought Kone was excellent today, a real handful and never stopped going. Obviously missed a couple but his finish finally for the goal was immaculate and of course that chance came about as a direct result of him still pressing in the 94th minute. |

A brilliant goal, and undoubtedly the game winner. And this is why you give young players meaningful game time; so they have the self assurance to come on and try that sort of thing. |

It's his weight of pass that always impresses me, so often just exactly right which shows a real natural talent.
I also noticed last night several times he pointed to who his team mate should play it and then positioned himself to receive the next pass. Really controlling the game, but also showing that increased confidence which I think we all agree has been a huge reason for his improvement. |
