I don't see the two things as mutually exclusive. We absolutely need to cut unsustainable costs but, as hugely successful business people, I'm sure the new board understand better than most that investment is required in key areas. |

The postage or printing costs won't affect me but I can see the issue and it's a small misstep by the club. Marketing is about perceived value, how much does the club expect to make from these charges and is it worth annoying paying customers for? Build admin / printing costs into the product and this issue goes away. Charge postage at cost when a loyal fan is potentially parting with £350 for a season ticket. It's easy stuff. Anyway, other than that the prices are excellent! |

Honestly James, not that I think we should be charging anything above nett cost for this, but staff time and an envelope probably equates to about 25p maximum. [Post edited 12 May 19:59]

Amazing news that this is over the line. I feel more confident about our future than I have for a long time, possibly ever. I'll admit that I would have preferred to see SG and JM relieved of their duties but I can see the thinking behind maintaining some continuity. With the new team on board I'm confident that anybody not pulling their weight won't last very long. We have mega successful people calling the shots and I'm looking forward to seeing standard's improve in all areas. On the pitch a 3 year aim to get back in the EFL seems fair. Having seen the standard this year I'm sure a play off push is the real expectation. Up the Dale |

All I really want is to enjoy going to games again. The NL gives us ample opportunity to do this as we should be winning more games than we lose, particularly at home. But, for the most part, win, lose or draw we have been awful to watch. A few people have commented that we have arrested the slide but what we haven't changed is our dull, uninspiring overarching 'philosophy'. My wish list is clear; the Ogden takeover goes through and we start to make real attempts to become self sufficient as a football club. Hand in hand with this, though, needs to be a change at board room and management level. I noted that SG is recruiting a head of commercial / commercial director and do have concerns with regards him being given free rein to do this. Let's get a proper clean slate and start again. |

Clear why both teams won't make the play offs. Pretty uninspiring stuff. |

Sigh. I know Henderson is on more than Nevett. I don't know what either player earns. Hopefully this example helps you work out the difference. Failing that you can Google an online dictionary to assist. If you can tear yourself away from arguing with strangers online for a minute or so. |

Despite the off field issues, avoiding a double relegation should not, in any way, be seen as an achievement. This league is poor and our squad is good enough to have been challenging for the play offs, our budget is aligned to this. The problem is, the longer we stay down here the harder it is to get out. |

Sums up our season, really. Not good enough when it matters. JM's comments before the game tell you everything you need to know about why, sadly, I don't think he will be the man to take us forwards. Play Offs has to be the target next season. |

It was a good move from Hayes onwards, admin getting a bit carried away suggesting it was an amazing flowing passing goal. |

Sandy season ticket @ £299 (£13 p/game). Everywhere else @ £345 (£15 p/game). POTD Sandy @ £18, everywhere else £20. Dale Card £25 per season which gives you entry at the season ticket rate if bought in advance and any season ticket benefits. Allow pay on the GATE. [Post edited 6 Mar 16:13]

It's a good job the players like Jim and put in a graft for him, if not we would be even lower down the table given what he has shown from a tactical / set up point of view. He's a nice guy and has probably tolerated a lot more off the pitch than a more experienced manager with less affinity to the club would. Ultimately, I don't believe he's the man to take us back to the EFL. |

Haven't lived in the Borough for years but, from the outside looking in, I really don't see how this serves the people of Rochdale. It's clear that Galloway's only here because of the large Muslim population. For his opening statement to be that 'this is for Gaza' is just plain weird and wrong. Surely it should be for the people of the town? |

The timing of this is no coincidence but hopefully positive news. |

We are in the National League because of this board's decisions. We are on the precipice of going out of business because of this board's decisions. Make no mistake SG has only continued pouring in money to bide time before he can get an investor in and his money out. I long since lost any faith in his abilities to run a football club and now, even more worryingly, I have lost any remaining hope I had of him acting in the best interests of the football club. |
