City are set to offer new contracts to as many as five players as a reward for the club winning last season’s Premier League title for the second time in the space of just three years, according to reports on Sky Sports.

It is understood that City are determined to tie up as much of their transfer business as possible before the start of this summer’s Fifa World Cup finals in Brazil.

Joe Hart, Aleksandar Kolarov, Edin Dzeko, Samir Nasri and James Milner are the five players in question.

Roma have said to to have tabled a bid for Kolarov which italian newspapers have been reporting.
