| Forum Thread | Anyone think O'Hara will return next season at 17:44 31 May 2015
Looks from the paper speculation as if he has much better offers on the table ... HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club that Blackpool midfielder Jamie O'Hara is a target for Nottingham Forest and Fulham. Blackpool face a major battle to keep hold of former Tottenham midfielder O'Hara following their relegation from the Championship. O'Hara joined Blackpool last November after ending an unhappy spell at Wolves and he caught the eye at Bloomfield Road. The 28-year-old was Blackpool's stand-out performer in a disappointing season for the side and he was named the club's Player of the Season by supporters. O'Hara has been offered a new deal by Blackpool, but a number of clubs are waiting in the wings to land the former England Under-21 man on a free transfer. |
| Forum Thread | o/t Anyone miss Alan Hansen this season? at 11:18 26 May 2015
Whilst I'm a big fan of MOTD I have to say that there was something missing with the absenceof Alan Hansen. Lawrenson is just a scruffy Nobber, Savage talks absolute nonsense, Mills is a decent enough pundit and whilst Alan Shearer may have had football feet he doesn't have a football brain. Seems to me the BBC are lurching from one set of deadwood to the other and need a pundit who actually knows what he's talking about and isn't afraid to say it, |
| Forum Thread | What do you want from a new manager? at 11:09 26 May 2015
OK, so it seems pretty difficult to forecast who the new manager is and so what do you look for? I would like one who will bring through young talented players and not rely on old has beens week in, week out I would like someone who plays open, attractive football but also who invests in a defence that you don't have to worry everytime the opposition breaks Finally I'd like someone with a bit of charisma who will make pre-match and post-match interviews something you want to listen to and not avoid. |
| Forum Thread | KO's true legacy! at 10:40 20 May 2015
For me, it's not the lack of retained players that is KO's legacy, for me it's the fact that he has never embraced our thriving Youth Policy. Criminal! Blackpool are close to losing highly-rated teenage duo Mark Waddington and Dom Telford to Stoke City. The pair, who broke into the first team at the turn of the year, were recently offered improved deals in a bid to resolve contract disputes which have been ongoing for months. |

Only discovered this site yesterday thanks to a Tweet - have to say of all the Blackpool forums it looks the most modern and accessible. Good to see some familiar old names as well! So what's the story - I thought the other site was AVFTT? |
