There are some notable changes for the new campaign, with captain James Ward-Prowse moving from the 16 shirt to the number 8 shirt a number synonymous with a Saints legend the one and only Mick Channon , while Ryan Bertrand takes 3 a number worn with pride in the past by David Peach & Mark Dennis, Oriol Romeu wears 6, Nathan Redmond becomes the new number 11, Michael Obafemi switches to 14, and Will Smallbone takes on 20.
Summer signings Kyle Walker-Peters and Mohammed Salisu take 2 and 22 respectively.

Kit sales are currently paused so you cant run down to one of the stores and have the name and number put on, but the club has announced that once they resume any fans who purchased a home, away or third kit for the 2020/21 season directly from the club with the name and number of a player who has now switched will be provided with details on how to have their shirt updated free of charge.
