He's got a valid point in that Pulis was used to having big cheques from Bet365 folks at Stoke but with what he achieved for them last year off little/no spend you would've expected some middle ground to be found.

One the one hand Palace critiscised for trying to keep a lid on things, on the other Pulis is a genius cos he kept them up.
So whilst Media critiscise TF and co for spending too much (yes clearly they did), they also critiscise Parrish now for trying to be careful and stick to budgets.
Which one is it, it is it purely results on the field?
Parrish does come across as a Jordan lite and a bit of a tit (worse to be a parody of someone I think) but if he is trying to be prudent it isnt the worst thing in the world with FFP coming in. [Post edited 15 Aug 2014 15:05]

They have had a nice run of owners havent they : Noades, Goldberg,Jordan and now Parish.
The owners there have a plan to extract cash and try and rebuild smelhurst so they need a manager who will toe the line. I suspect the next appointment will not be a big name. |  | | |

The media aren't a singular organisation with a stated policy. Each writer and each paper just needs a story with an angle for today. Who cares what tomorrow brings or what yesterday brought. |  |

This is what FFP will do to a club, they can't afford to spend on both training ground and players so if the club chooses to go for infrastructure then the manager is going to walk away.
