I've always loved Ainsworth on the buddy holly from 35 odd yards following a cross field switch pass from that fella we had on loan (Tommy someone).

A monstrous volley. One of the best goals I've ever seen

Thread of the year. Thanks

Here's one of my favorites -- Clive Allen at West Ham, 1984

Here is another favorite of mine -- Gerry Francis finishing off a sweeping move that starts in our own goal area, versus Liverpool

That Clive Allen goal may well be the best scored in blue and white hoops... It's art and science rolled into one

Saw at least a third of the goals on this thread so far live, but this one has got to be the best moment of my Rs life (if not my non-Rs life too). Not sure it will ever be eclipsed.

Fking love this thread. All the late 80s / 90s stuff I love all those players.
That FA Cup match v Arsenal in the pssing rain when Sansom & Sinton scored, the atmosphere in the ground that night was immense. Wegerle was unstoppable at that time.

Most of my favourites already posted but the one below hasn't. It's Not the most spectacular of goals but it meant so much.
Last minute winner away at Ninian Park in that glorious run to the playoffs.
Celebrated just as wildly as Bircham's v Brentford a couple of weeks earlier.
That was a great time to be a QPR fan.
More times like that ahead please.

This Rangers equalising goal takes some beating. 48 years ago but still my favourite goal after over 50 years of supporting QPR.

My all-time fave is alreasy up, Michael Robinson on the mud, but happy memories of nos 2 and 3 of this trio:

(Some choice commentary too: "Liverpool have been given a penalty, I'm not sure what for..." Playing in red at Anfield, probably, cheating bastards that they always were.)

And while I'm at it, very fond of Simon Barker's here:

If I've got the dates right, I think that Spurs game was just around the time that Gary Linekar signed for Grampus Ate My Hamster He was at the game and we bumped into him afterwards. He was quite rude as it goes.

We forget how good Roy Wegerle was. The only goal I have seen scored by an away team where everyone in the ground applauded. And this was at Leeds!

Never knowingly right.
