It's genuinely good I think. I listened to an interview with one of the production team who said they go to great lengths to ensure that none of the production staff are ever on site with the contestants - all the to-camera stuff is done without crew - and to allow things to develop without direct intervention, but that they spend hours and hours before filming to game out all the potential outcomes and how best to set in motion the most entertaining 'story lines'. Obviously picking the traitors is a big part of it. Whether that's all true I don't know, but it always delivers good TV. Grant Mitchell having a paranoid episode was genuinely unnerviing
Funnily enough me too, having never searched or watch any football aggro videos before. I mean, my nine and six year old girls use my YouTube account but I doubt they have either.
The one that came up on my home screen was an account of someone who was There That Day when Everton came to town, expecting to Take The Piss but they got foiled by some QPR Youth leading them into an ambush by some of QPRs Top Generals.
Incredibly likeable characters, and some brilliantly written dialogue. Thought it was scraping the barrel a bit by the end of S3 though, do you think there'll be a fourth season? Felt like it had wrapped up by the end maybe
Said many times, but if you ever end up watching an opposition commentary stream it really makes you realize how lucky we are to have Tyler and Andy, absolutely brilliant
Thing is the ref was the wrong side of it to really know whether there was even contact, he should have consulted with the linesman I'd have thought.
It's interesting that even with the benefit of replays there's no consensus. I thought at the time and still do that the ref got it badly wrong and was influenced by the Preston players, and can't really see how anyone thinks it was dangerous (sorry Gazza, i am but a punter), but it's obviously not unambiguous given the different opinions. But on that basis alone the ref should surely take a moment, speak to the linesman eetc.before rushing to get his cards out
