There's been talk of Hogan being finished at Villa before he'd even started - hopefully he's turned a massive corner now and got his career finally back on track.
"He was a big money signing a year ago and he's picked up three injuries since then. Like all strikers, he needs confidence so we sincerely hope these two goals [he scored last week too] are just the start. The second half of the season, he could be vital for us."
On Sky tonight : Sheffield United v Aston Villa. Funny how fortunes change so quick! A month ago Hogan was being touted around for a possible loan move or even being sold on. Now he's possibly Villa's best hope for getting a top 2 place and promotion - it's a funny old game.
Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10
