Did anyone else see the extended piece he did with Dion Dublin on the Premier League show on Thursday night?
I have to confess to being slightly disappointed because, having stayed up to watch it, there no was no mention of Dale at all although Workington Reds, Carlisle and a spell in the USA early in his career were all referred to.
Having said that, I remember him making his debut in a 7-1 defeat at Lincoln in October 2006. I was waiting for a plane at Manchester Airport that afternoon to go to Spain on holiday and every text message heralding another goal for the Imps was mood destroying!
