John Hollins RIP on 13:53 - Jun 14 with 2215 views | Boundy | Sorry double post . RIP , not to everyone's taste as a manager but having met him under difficult circumstances I can honestly say he was a decent man .

John Hollins RIP on 14:48 - Jun 14 with 2139 views | Joesus_Of_Narbereth | One of my first memories as a tiny little kid as a little stocking filler for Christmas having an old vhs tape of John Virgo doing trick shots with John hollins and a big stunt man bloke called Rocky. I watched the absolute shit out of that trying to recreate the trick shots on my tiny five by two folding snooker table.

John Hollins RIP on 15:22 - Jun 14 with 2102 views | KeithHaynes | Sad news, never rated him as a manger, but perspective needed. Great footballer, won the European cup winners cup with Chelsea. I remember that as a seven year old. Great Chelsea team that was.

This 100%. My eldest lad who is now 27 has said to me on many occasions ‘remember the day Dad when I was little John Hollins walked with us and chatted all along Glamorgan Street to the car after a Swans game’. A most humble and gentlemanly gesture from JH which has given my lad lifelong memories. RIP John.

Its all about opinions met him as others have said a true gent and not too big to talk to you.. He was a model pro as a player but like many others never truly achieved great things as a manager though Curt thinks highly of him as he states in his biog

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

John Hollins RIP on 07:30 - Jun 15 with 1815 views | shandyjack | The man in charge when i first fell in love with the club, saw us lift out first piece of real silverware under him. Will all have a place in my heart as will the whole of the 99-00 squad. Even Michael Howard who i gave pelters too on a weekly basis for hos crap i thought he was

John Hollins RIP on 08:07 - Jun 15 with 1799 views | RichardO | Always had a soft spot for Mr Hollins, part of the Chelsea team whose style of play in the early 70s and Cup success cemented my love of football as an 8 year old in 1970. A man who went back to help his club to help them gain promotion back to the first division. Was glad to see him come and be part of the Swans history. Sad to hear of his passing RIP

Always had time for the fans, youngsters in particular. Went to watch training at Fairwood with my lad, who would have been about 8 - as the team were walking out John came over to the car and chatted to us, we still talk about it now
