Those of us of a certain age still view Halifax Town as a Football League club with the traditional rivalry that this brought.
The fact is though that, since their relegation 30 years ago, they have only spent five seasons back in the EFL after promotion back there in 1998.
The current club is in fact a Phoenix Club formed after the original one went out of business in 2008.
