Shame that. You’d think there would be enough knowledge and experience at all league football clubs these days to prevent cock ups like this happening. I’m presuming from what I’ve read here that there was commitment on both sides for the loan to go through.

I find the whole leave until the last hour of the window totally bizarre. Perhaps a change of time like ending the windows at mid-day may make a difference. The paperwork would effectively need to be completed the day before allowing a few hours in the morning to revisit any issues. Just a ridiculous way to run a multi million pound business at any level

This is really good news. If we can keep him fit, no mean feat apparently, he can be a game changer in this league. To quote a Burnley supporter though, he is made of glass and an automatic target on the pitch due to how dangerous he is.

This side has a lot of potential though my expectation are, as ever, being managed carefully!
