Probably not the most complimentary title!

It seems to come on here every now and again that Rhys has played in centre mid before and looked quite good.

He has pace, can tackle and is a pretty good dribbler of the ball (like that amazing goal of his).

Personally I see him as second choice to Raff as a RB because he tends to slip out of position a little to often.

Maybe a better option in centre mid than Rose in that role when needs be especially if we a trying to hold a lead.

Although I agree a new defensive mid would be a bonus we have a very flexible squad. We've seen Rose, Lund, Bennett, BBM and McGinty(briefly) in that position. I also remember seeing Rafferty for the first time in a friendly and being impressed by him in that role. I think Vincenti could do a job there as well. Another one is young Cannon who looked brilliant in a preseason friendly last year in that role.

Last time we went up with Hill we changed formation so it'll be interesting to see how we start the season.
