When was the last time we drew 0-0 in three consecutive league games?

And, when was the last calendar month (during the season, not including August & May) that we failed to win a league game?

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Cheers TVOS

Thought the 0-0 sequence would be a first for many of our fans.

Slightly surprised that we've had a no-win month under Hilly, thought it might've been under Eyre/Coleman.

Still have the Southend game on the 31st to rescue this month.

I stand corrected - miscalculated the calendar!

But it therefore raises another question: if we don't win on 31 October, have we ever gone a full calendar month without a victory under Hilly?

Yeah, I reckon our first season in League One, around November, yielded no wins.

Sorry ddb, I've tried to make it clear it's only full months during the season.

Before the 3 0-0' including 2 home draws, we may have set a record for most consecutive competitive matches in which was have scored at home, I think it was up to 18 before the 0-0 against Coventry.

Although would require a lot of research to check this out.

Excel is a help here!

It was 21 up to the Coventry game. The run started v Forest and the last game of the 21 was Chesterfield.

It's not the best scoring run at home though, as there have been five better and one the same.

26 games from April 1925 Halifax (3-1) to April 1926 (Accrington 3-2)
26 games from May 1926 (Coventry 4-1) to October 1927 (Wrexham 3-0)

25 games from October 1991 (Preston 1-1 (Autoglass)) to October 1992 (Walsall 4-3)

23 games from December 1947 (Darlington 2-1) to November 1948 (Barrow 1-1 (FA Cup))
23 games from September 1949 (Halifax 1-0) to September 1950 (Crewe 1-1)

21 games from April 1962 (Southport 2-0) to April 1963 (Bradford City 2-1)

Thanks TVOS.

still pretty impressive run for dale though. Let's hope the two 0-0s are not the start of a goalless home run like we had in 99-00

Bang on!
Sheffield Wednesday a 2-0
Swindon h 3-3
Carlisle a 1-1
Oldham h 1-1

November 2010
Think that's the only month Hill has failed to win a game managing Dale. One game this month to preserve that fine record. Southend AWAY ( pretty sure in all my years supporting Dale we've NEVER won there)?

Not quite the 'home scoring sequence' stat but I posted this when it happened back in 2008/2009. We went 29 consecutive league games scoring (the record nearly ended earlier at bury but for Will Buckley's 94th min goal). The record stretched from 4/10/08 Dagenham h 0-2 to the Chesterfield away game 25/03/09 when we lost 3-0.
