Sounds like a similar scenario to Hogan when going to Villa but at a different level.

Hope it works out well for the lad. True, the big(ger) clubs definitely
don't have much empathy or a hiding place when the going gets tough but he sounds like he has plenty of self-belief.

Not a big believer in former players returning to the club but I'd certainly make an exception for Cannon if he can get over his injury woes!! A driving / combative midfielder with a massive engine / big skill set and vision who can chip in with a few goals to boot.....fell out with Hilly but pretty sure BBM will be a big admirer!!
